My first thought. First player I would always buy when I started a new career, along with Cherno Samba & Franco Costanzo.

None of them reached the stellar heights that Football Manager suggested...

Costanzo played 5 years at Basel, and is now back in Argentina.
Samba seems to have played about 30 games of league football, and 4 games for Gambia...

Midtable serie A team, I guess it's a step up from the Championship but Milan are not the team they were a couple of seasons ago.

agreed but would have thought they have better options than Taarabt, and want to build to get out of mid table, just surprised they would go for him.

Milan have no cash, so loans and feebies only.

Still Essien, Rami, Honda and Taarabt aren't bad for nothing.

I think he's a good signing and suited to Serie A.

KPB looked like shit until he went there... maybe Taarabt will look like a decent player in Serie A. He'lll get loads of time on the ball for stepovers at least..
