I have held off from saying anything until now - I had assumed the problem was service. If he had displayed any positional sense or produced a single moment of quality I would give him the benefit of the doubt - as it is I see very little there. He just looks out of his depth.

which is what I have thought until now, I think the problem is that he doesn't really suit the way Spurs are playing. What we really need is someone who can make more room for our attacking midfielders and pull defenders away from congested areas. Like Suarez or Giroud.. or even Torres. Bobby Soldier always seems to face up to the play or want the ball to feet.
