It's a 100% penalty.
The fact he didnt go down in a comedy heap, is the reason it wasn't given.
Pretty shocking decision in my opinion, whether it was on purpose or not, it is a foul...a very funny foul

Also Villa - still paying for Anthony Johnsons comedy performance on the opening day...

The ref played the advantage. Had he not gotten the shot off, like the proud, playing from the heart, salt of the earth Dane that he is, it could have very well been a penalty. But he did and it wasn't.
Can we talk about the imminent collapse of Man U again now? RVP is apparently having a late fitness test at the end of the week, but he looks 50/50. No Phil Jones anytime soon. Defence in disarray.
I reckon it's Man City's year.

they are just trying to dilute the embarrassment of moyes summer transfer dealings with some smoke and mirrors
not sure if this dilutes the embarrassment or intensifies it - just piles on the evidence of how desperate they were by that stage to sign anyone, and at 4 times what they'd ever paid for a player!? not even thrashing the kopites 20-nil tonight will cover the cracks or restore much faith in utd prospects for the next 2 years at least.

Don't have a good feeling about tonights game
I think United will thrash us 3-0 with gnasher getting an early bath -

Cornelius, my dear fellow. The evidence is posted on this very page by a fellow spud.
How you can claim that the pants pulling was inadvertent is preposterous! Granted, it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the match, but just take a look at all the facts and talk some common sense now and then old bean.
So, as if all you sychophants' attempts at bringing poor-man's Pisti-isms to your posts weren't enough, we're now in for a deluge of wannabe Clives...
Anyone know how our reserves got on last night?

And don't you dare say "iPhone". That's clearly a brain error.
Classic grauniad reader mistake, you spend so long reading them that you make them yourself.

Really, the Glazers do seem like the people to give a manager with a background of tight budgets £120m to blow on one player. United almost certainly did bid, and that bid would've been <£50m.

Can't make it to OT tonight as I'm snowed under at work. I'm guessing the game isn't on TV?
-
• #89224
You guess wrong, it's on Sky
-
• #89225
So for me it is not on the TV.
I thought ITV showed Capital One games at some point
