Real Madrid have spent €1,296,200,000 on transfers over the last 13 years.
That is absolutely nuts.

Nigel Kennedy was asked to play YNWA at the Last Night of the Proms. He refused saying he wouldn't play "Liverpool shit".
A man of principles.

Can't believe the official Liverpool forum has closed for maintenance during the season and with the window about to close. Missing Fowi and Alon1.

Must have run out of sick things to say about other teams
Don't know what you mean. I only read what the two people i mentioned post and they don't say sick things about other teams.

dickwad, do you honestly pay attention to what that senile French idiot has to say?
Transparency begins at home so when UEFA start becoming completely honest and open than they can expect the clubs to do the same, until then nothing will change. -

Arsene Wenger channeling his inner Pisti and talking about every other team rather than his own..
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/30/wenger-gareth-bale-arsenal-tottenham
I did find this section interesting
"But he was more calculated on Friday morning when he assessed another summer of transition for the Tottenham starting XI.
"In our job, there is always a technical risk when you buy more than three players because you unbalance a little bit the stability of your squad," Wenger said. "It's always difficult, when you bring so many players in, to predict how everybody will do."Wenger suggested it was easier to predict a team's fortunes without their star player, a loss that he has suffered all too often in recent summers. Bale's world record move from Tottenham to Real will be announced shortly.
"It has a negative impact when you lose your best players, always," Wenger said. "Because you are perceived as well by your fans for a lack of ambition, and by the rest of the squad … they look for strength in their team. We have gone through that process consistently and it demands always a mental adjustment to keep your ambition alive. It's very, very difficult."To a certain extent I agree with Wenger it is difficult to integrate a lot of new players into the mix, especially if you throw them straight in at the deep end, but AVB showed last season with the integration of Lloris, that it's about merit and performance on the training pitch and thence matchdays that secures your place in the first team, rather than just the size of your transfer fee, or previous reputation..
But where I disagree with Wenger is the belief that the destabilisation that happens when you have the long running transfer saga and eventual sale of best player, will affect this spurs team. The demoralisation comes from seeing your best player sold and no replacements of a similar quality bought in. Arsenal sold Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy, RVP, and promoted through the ranks (which is admirable, and part of Wenger's philosophy) without buying in comparable quality, something we did last season when we sold Modric, but have avoided doing this season with the sale (hopefully soon, please god for everyones sanity) as the quality and youth of player inspires confidence not dismay at Bale's departure..TL:DR
Wenger moans about us, I say we've invested well. We'll see tomorrow at 4pm.. -

A friend of mine, a diminutive Frenchman called Tanguy watches Arsenal games in the Effra and so if you see a small Gallic lawyer supping red wine, do say hello.
