They also are lacking a water carrier still. Obi-mikel isn't that player even though Mourinho crushed his attacking instincts first time around, he isn't suited to that position. Someone like Wanyama or Gary medel would have been good business.

Chelsea have a dearth of attacking options which seem to have a staccato integration. The player able to bring them together in chorus is Mata and it seems he isn't going to be played.

De Bruyne, Schuurle, Willians, Oscar & Hazard - this is one player too many, unless getting rid of Mata is the plan.

They couldn't give Torres away for the money he's on. And to do so would mean RA admitting defeat. Not even sure it's total defeat; have they ever played him the way we did when he caused all the damage?
It's also hard to believe the fuss that surrounded the transfer of Mikel when you watch him play. He's total garbage in his chelsea position.
And now it looks like at least one of these is about to have their game diminished: Mata, De Bruyne, Schuurle, Willians, Oscar & Hazard.

Moses is an interesting one. A decent enough player but far from world class. At best a squad player. Now in a team full of hot attacking midfield talent, surely surplus to requirements and sure to be sold?

He surprised me in preseason by playing some very decent football. Since then, hardly a bench appearance.

Clive, the forum Jersey design is black, so we keep with this, maybe add chest pockets to keep things in such as cards or a little book. Possibly a white collar as this gives a false air of authority and maybe we should carry a whistle when wearing it to get pedestrians out of the way.

@MG my idea with Torres would be loan him out to a team where he will play every game, get him scoring and then either realise some value for him or bring him back when he's found form. He may never find form of course and will have to be let out to seed.

Not sure I want us to attempt to get hulk, he's the kind of muscular get lightweight player that calls for fouls when standing your ground will get you more. His move to zenit seemed to be about the money (what transfer isn't) but he hasn't covered himself with glory or made the team any better from what little I can see.

I'd take youth and potential over overvalued former managers favourites...

In relation to Eriksen seems to be some conflict on him, no doubting he's talented but some concern over whether he's robust enough to truly dominate games in the English game, though mata, modric, silva, to name a few didn't do too badly. Some say he tends to flit in and out of games.. But he's young enough to improve and gives us the attacking options we are looking for, and also wouldn't cost the earth - relatively, in transfer fee and wages, that hulk would..

Hulk can fuck off. He's been useless in every game I've seen him play in.
