  • Looks like Willian is off to Chelsea, billionaire Russian owners stick together it seems..

Oh well, wonder who else Franco has his eye on..

  • Wasn't me who reported Pisti either, obviously. The 'outsiders' often view this thread, probably out of intrigue or bemusement if nothing else. Could have been one of them I suppose.

Looks like Willian has gone to Chelsea. So it's a double gazumper. A bit like buying a house in my neck of the woods :0

    Fazakerley?

  • Sounds very exotic but looks like Brookside

  • I didn't shop G either.

  • Methinks you all protest too much.

Anyway, I shot the sheriff, but I didn't kill the deputy.

  • I would have shopped him for his earlier homophobic remark if I had been in the habit of shopping anyone, which i am not. In the event, I just protested it to him and then antisemitic remark occurred and he was banned before I saw it. He was cruising for a banning. I wish he would leave that crap alone. It is not a battle that he will win and he is missed on here.

  • Fuck him.

Why would I want to get him banned when he's already on ignore.

He's an adult, the goalposts have moved and he's been made aware of it, if he still wants to take shots at where the goal used to be. That's his problem.

Got to say the lack of Pisti vitriol makes the thread easier to read, and since he just regurgitates the same FACTS, and insults, I'm not missing anything intriguing or interesting..

  • ^ respect is due

Thought you wouldn't mind seeing as the transfer window hasn't slam'dshutâ„¢

  • Came across this. John sitton had his moments on this thread a couple of years agohttp://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZngrtVF583M&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DZngrtVF583M

Famous in my house for the legendary '.......and you can bring your fucking dinner'
Is that a cockney expression? What the fuck does it mean lolz

I think along the lines of: "Bring it and I'll have that, too"

Everything that TSO (or THO as he has become known) does is calculated. He is far from "a mental" let alone a "complete" one.

The ball crushingly predictable gushing at this bell is tiresome. I remember the moody vibe and football that you were playing in his final months. Rosenberg....Loads of [strike] Liverpo[/strike] Norwegians laughing. Nearest they'll get to Europe/CL, though :(

MG - One way of measuring a club's ambition is by measuring the expenditure on the squad vs. turnover. Another one is by looking at their long term strategy in place e.g. stadium development, football development (youth academy etc.), you might disagree with me here, and to me it seems that Spurs are 2 steps ahead of LFC. Their stadium development will start as soon as they naming rights have been confirmed (imminently).

Based on infrastructure and squad I can't see LFC barging their way into the top 5 or make it a top 6 again. The only way for the old order to be restored is if the Oligarch or Sheikhs lose interest or if the Wenger project fails miserably. My best guess is that LFC will finish 6th quite comfortably, they might even win a cup as there is no European distraction in the early part of the season.

The stadium issue and the way the club behaved is a total disgrace. They and members of the council should be held to account. Not sure How long it will take before they can commence but this is a dark cloud hanging overhead and goes back many years. Low ballin on homes and moving scum/dealers/pimps in, with the hope of getting rid of ordinary folk from their homes is poor.

Jaw, surely a more sensible way of judging it: whom do you think will earn more naming rights of their stadiums?

For the here and now I'd agree but if BR is allowed the Suarez money plus supposed left overs from this transfer window and he/the squad can maintain the form they ended the second half of last season + some grit in their gullivers and not as reliant on Suarez I see the gap lessening with the top three. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^A lot of 'if's

  • Nice Anthony Burgess reference there.

  • Hooray it's Saturday again. I notice there have been no pointless predictions so far here you go

    Fulham 2 v 0 Arsenal
    Everton 1 v 0 West Brom
    Hull v Norwich 0-2
    Newcastle 0 v 0 West Ham
    Southampton 5 v 1 Sunderland
    Stoke v Crystal Palace zzz
    Villa 3 v 1 Liverpool

  • match day 2
once again good luck to everyone except villa this week

    RELEASE THE BALLS

  • dicki, sorry to spoil your dreams but it is not lottery. Skill and refereeing bias are also factors.

  • trying to put an american spin on things
premiershit needs more razmatazz and cheerleaders

  • Hammerettes >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • yes please
the best bit of many a west ham game... half time

  • For those wishing for more hammy, sexist, dancing girls. They can be found at half time in selhurst park.

    Why??

Has spearmint rhino really made that much impact in our world that we need to have cheerleaders?

  • I have never understood the concept of scantily clad girls dancing around on a football pitch. They generally look very cold. Grass is not a great surface for dancing. But more, much more than this, football pitches are so large that one really couldn't tell if the dancers were women or the reserve team in drag. If you want to see scantily clad women dancing, there are plenty of places to go.

I suppose at one time it was thought that such "entertainment" might take people's attention away from fighting on terraces. Today, however, many football supporters are female. Not appropriate. Not even entertaining. A total waste of time.

  • I can see why you could mistake David Luiz for a dancing girl at your age in your cheap seat at the back. Better start taking your binoculars to the bridge.

Dont knock it damo. In todays porn rich environment 13yr olds would probably rather grab a bovril than watch the hammerettes but back in the day this would have been akin to hot gossip on top of the pops, a bit of benjy hill or the underwear section in grattan's catalogue.
    Priceless wank bank material.

  • David luiz in a bikini.

    Brrrrrr.

  • As for you clive......I know lots of women who love watching women strutting their stuff. Reported for being sexist.
