Strange to ship Reina out like that as I don't rate Brad Jones enough to be sufficient back up
-

Was he moaning about replacing Reina, with a better, younger keeper?
I wasn't moaning. Just questioning the wisdom in letting a very experienced keeper leave like this.
Fuck it's like everyone's got the painters in here today.

Did. Not. See. That. Coming.
well to be fair it could have been any plastic from any whopper club around the uk like everton / chelski / arse /
it's just statistically more likely to be liverpool because we have the biggest fan base... in the uk and globally -
• #84781
That's a lot of plastic...

while I agree, Reina is on a lot of dollar and paying that for someone on the bench isn't good business

He may be a whiny cunt widing everyone else up.

Fact is that Reina's already had his house robbed. Need a new keeper to keep the locals happy.
-

we don't play away in europe any more clive
thats when the burglaries used to take place ... and thats why liverpool fans are so keen to see then back in europe -

Seems like Etienne Capoue will be making his way to Cardiff.
There have been a number of good young players, going to the lesser fancied teams. I'm looking forward to seeing some of them this season (Lovren, Fer, Bony, Woolfswinkel, Muniesa etc)

Any Spuds have anything to say about Adam Smith? Will he be as good as Brayford?
Corny, is there an article on him from The Guardian that you could copy and paste?

Screw that Rob, Niall Horran has been singing backstage with Alan Hinton:

If they were looking for Premier League winners medal to steal they were looking in the wrong city.

Nerged.
This is the fucking football thread. What you should have said is;
"Fuck, are Arsenal playing at home today?"

Bang goes your chances of a top-half finish.

Not so sure about that. I think we've made some good improvements during the summer and Brayford has been the only considerable loss to our first choice XI.
Johnny Russell has looked lively and seems to be the type of player we have been missing for a good few seasons. Hughes will hopefully more consistent this season after an outstanding start to last season and even Sammon looks like he could be useful for a change.
The biggest concern is at CB where we are hoping that two of our crocks will be back to their best when they can play again, which is unlikely. Clough seems unwilling to spend any more money too.

Looks like Suarez is set to stay at Liverpool.
I think he realises moving to Arsenal would be a massive backwards move

Where is the site to keep track of who Arsenal have signed so far this summer? It's hard to keep track of all the activity

going to avoid the obvious, pisti like and just not comment on it, before moving the agenda sideways and discussing the imminent arrival of Soldado, and rumours of us being in for Javier Pastore of PSG, who is a wonderful footballer, maestro in the languid Berbatov mould, but if honest even silkier in his control, eye for goal, and ability to strike a pass...
Know we won't get him, and where would he fit into our already bulging attacking midfielder contingent, but I am excited about being linked with him.
@aroogah, nice article and the others about the Spurs youth prospects are interesting as well. Hope some of them get more than just a loan prospect this season..
-
• #84798
so the guardian haven't done a piece on him then?
-

Surely the whole point is that liverpool signed minolet because they want to get the wage bill down? Didn't liverpool think that they had reina sold when they got in minolet?
mignolet is on a lot less and the thinking is that Barca will be in for Reina next year hence the loan in the short term. I think the Barca move this year was scuppered when Valdes signed that contract extension

Player gets shipped out towhere he had no idea he was going.
He's more likely to have been born in Copenhagen.
