lets hope they fuck up and get 5th for a few seasons

  • Graeme Souness arrival at Liverpool still ranks up there for me, as one of football's greatest moments.

And also the point where successful ex players as managers began to be thought of as not always the best option if you wanted your team to win stuff..

  • Adidas go mental after Götze turns up at his official shirt presentation with a slightly obvious logo from his personal sponsor:

  • Well if it was Puma it would have been worse.

  • Is that not Justin Bieber??

    #belieber

  • Surprised, in a positive way, by the signings at Stoke City. More so coming from Mark Hughes. Going for talented youngsters hasn't been their style over the last 5 years.

Swansea are starting to spend some serious cash as well. They're strengthening their team all over the pitch. Apparently WHU have matched their bid for Wilfried Bony yesterday.

    Roll on the new season!

  • Loin but his achievements/goals have been put in the shade by how much better Bayern's current front man is and also Lewandowski. He's a bit of a throwback Andy Carroll with better control and movement. I know that is doing him a bit of a disservice but his flaws have been shown up by the other strikers in the Bundesliga. Why him and not a cheeky punt for Dzeko, who could be available for a decent price, and is younger?

The guy has a goal every 0.6 games through his whole career!
He doesn't work for the team like Mandzukic, but scored 2 less goals from 7 less appearances and more of those from the bench.
When Dzeko made the step up he failed to notch goals, when Gomez made the step up he scored even more goals!

I would have him over Higuain, at 27 he is very much at his peak. It seems as if us and Madrid are at loggerheads over Higuain's price, so maybe there is still time to go in for the real super Mario!

    Yup, this.

Maybe Hughes has had re-think on his strategy. Pieters and Muniesa are serious talent.

  • Loin, Times is saying Fiorentina are interested in Gomez, so someone values him. And Fiorentina have always liked a big front man. Luca Toni, Batistuta etc...

  • Also that Gotze hiccup, should have been nipped in the bud, just get him to wear a t-shirt over the top. Whoever in their press department let that happen needs to get a slap..

First rule of television/photography, no logo's

  • Jeez, just this once, I'll call you out on your baiting.

Anything that involves interviewing someone or a posed photo, the production company/PR people etc will state no logo's, no t-shirts with slogans, and should make sure they wear something with solid colours only.

During the match who gives a fuck, adverts in commercial airtime who gives a fuck.

Jeez acting the cunt, who gives a fuck.

  • Dwight Gayle moves from Peterborough to
Crystal Palace and the Daggers get some cash.

Yay! We have got a playing budget for the new season.

  • Bookies have stopped taking bets on Suarez to Arsenal...

I suspect someone has been at it like pookie in nujac:

  • If you kill yourself, it's suicide
If you kill someone else, it's homicide

And if you haven't won the league in 20 yrs it's Merseyside.
    .

  • ^ i won't justify etc etc .........
