Scott Sinclair to be Martinez' first signing
Could be good for us and still got a lot to prove IMO
This would be good - I read somewhere Delofleu from barcelona was another possible for a season loan - mostly paper talk right now I guess but the right sort of noises.
Baldini seems to be all but certain to join the Spuds as technical director. Thoughts Corny?
So glad we've shifted 178k per week from our wage bill today. Just need to get rid of Chamakh, Santos and Park now and that will be another 160k. Fucking joke.

Maybe GazBaz can finally sign for Liverpool. By 'eck I can still remember the outrage from Liverpool fans that he'd chosen us over them....still they've got Jordan Henderson now.
Idiot. The outrage was for Rafa trying to ditch Alonso for him*.
*before anyone started talking of Alonso being any good

Tenderoni,
Baldini as technical director is something that AVB has been angling for, for a while, and I think would strengthen us, know baldini was one of Capello's lieutenants but Roma have been a bit up and down, what with letting Montella go and then having the failed experiment of Luis Enrique but recovering slightly under their current manager.
The technical director and first team coach division of labour is a way of working that we want to put into place and it'll take some of the pressure to do everything off of levy and fingers crossed we'll do transfer business quickly and start to implement a style of play throughout the age levels.

Agreed.
I also think Tottenham have struggled in negotiations in the past two seasons. This year, if the make a mess of things again it could really cost them. AVB has seen Moutinho go to Monaco already - so I think it was time to sort things.
Damiao or Soldado look like the two front runners - which means you guys are looking for an out and out centre forward.
Baldini won't be anywhere near as restricted financially as he was at Roma - so it could be good.

Tender,
Didn't know Roma had financial constraints, if you believe Paolo Bandini they've been splurging on players
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2013/may/27/lazio-roma-coppa-italia-finalThink the big mistake they had was letting Montella go, he's proved to be a good young manager, shown by how he's pushed on Fiorentina.
Know Roma tried to do the youth, possession football thing with Luis Enrique but it didn't stick and now they've just got rid of Zdenek Zeman, I'm wondering how much input Baldini had in the hiring and firing of said managers.

He only smiles with that 'oh shit i missed a sitter again' look on his face. See that about 3/4 times per match.
