nuknow, true fan that, gutted that his team has fallen at the final hurdle again.
Obviously crying like a child and being filmed and it shown to millions of viewers opens you upto ridicule, but the pain is/was real for them at the time.Bit of empathy is required, though if it was the equivalent Arsenal fan I'm sure I'd feel a frisson of joy as well..

Complete sellout on Sunday and the dozy cunts @ Everton sent me 3 tickets by mistake instead of the one I ordered!
Nice little £100 for me to soften the inevitable defeat
I don't think a defeat is inevitable. You think Moyes is going to want to go out on a defeat? Win is a definite possibility.

True supporter in that he had gone to the ground to watch the match. Met some Portuguese supporters who had bought their plane tickets as soon as Befica went out of the Champions League. Plenty of them there. Many in half and half scarves. The neutral sections saved for the "UEFA family" of 30,000 people seemed to contain more Chelsea than Benfica. On the television last night watching the game on CTV, it seemed that we were the louder group apart from a couple of occasions, despite playing woefully and leaving everyone with the feeling that we were about to cop a 4-0 thrashing. It was also odd the way in which the stadium announcer led the cheering for their goal.
What did the Guardian have to say about it Corney?

nuknow, true fan that, ...
Bit of empathy is required...Errrrr... no.
It's benfica dude... they're worst than 10 Arsenal and 10 Lib'pool together.
10 days ago they were already Europa League champions, Portuguese 'Liga' was won, and so was the Portuguese Cup. It was all theirs!!!Now, 10 days passed - F.C.Porto beat them last weekend (90min+2, lol) and literally stole the 'Liga', Chelsea took the Europa League playing with more Portuguese players than Benfica!!!.... and the Cup, well, I'm sure it'll go for them.
Whatever happens to them, it's never too much!

Portuguese papers were saying yesterday, Jorge Jesus AKA Richard Lewis, is being followed very closely by Everton, M.City and Chelsea.

• #81811
Everyone called George Jesus deserves success.

We were shit, Benfica weren't much better... That pitch looked a bit dodgy to me, which would explain why it was such a dismal spectacle...

Nuknow - what happened to SCP?
Lol.... where to start..?
Basically we're finishing in 6th, worst placement ever in 106yrs.
Blame the former President who has risen the club's debt to 400 million Euros.
