I love how many Liverpool "fans" are banging on, on here and elsewhere about how the manager they sacked for incompetence has won a trophy. It was won in spite of and not because of Benitez. He will be gone on Sunday. You can have him if you wish but I doubt that you do wish.
Sadly the only trouble in Amsterdam yesterday came from Liverpool supporters who had won tickets in the ludicrous UEFA lottery. Ironic given that they have always claimed that it was Chelsea supporters who caused the murders at Heysel.

Liverpool may have won nothing once again but at least Suarez has had a taste of European success.

No. You're wrong. It's all good and well winning a tournament that we didn't even start in.
Rafa has delivered a top 4 finish and a piece of silverware and for that he deserves credit. His tactics set the team up to defend way too deep in the first half and could easily have cost us.
He also lost semi finals against Swansea and Man City and ended slipped further behind in the PL.
There's a few positives to be taken from his tenure as interim manager but I do not want him at Chelsea and by the looks of it Roman hasn't quite warmed to him either.

You're a sad sack of shit. Want to see my ticket stub? Or alternatively, just fuck off, grow up and don't bother me again.

Well done, Chelsea btw.
But can we please agree now that the European Super Cup is not a trophy? Thanks.

• #81618
Like, duh, Damo.
It would defeat the purpose of the competition if Joe told us who it was straight away.

You melt.

you don't half talk some shite cliveo.
Rafa got Torres looking a little like his old self again. He's done himself proud winning a cup in spite of your mob so he should get another job soon enough.

Now you're talking shit, Mark.
That Chelsea 'mob' seem somewhat adept at winning trophies, no?

given the transitional nature of the top clubs I suspect you're right, chelsea are used to the merry-go-round
Was thinking if Maureen hadn't gotten bored at Real who in their right mind would take the Chelsea job?

I'm talking about the fans, not the players. They've got a good squad
