  • Good game for Foster, but it didn't strike me as an outstanding performance.
Albion defended well and Liverpool's inability to create and despatch good scoring chances cost us.
Every time I think there's the possibility of a revival (we look to be playing a bit more coherently, even start scoring goals) there's another lapse.
    Useless bastards.

It's been like this for 20+ years.

  • seems to be 2-3 games then a shocker and repeat

  • As a Liverpool fan I've been pretty pleased with how we've developed this season, I have no illusions of grandeur over our squad strength or quality though do feel we're currently 8-10 points behind where we should/could be due to poor performances.

Last night was disappointing because of just how little lust for the ball there was in our side & I don't think I've seen that many mistakes by a team in a long time (poor control, stray passes etc...) but everyone saw it so you don't need me to critique the match.

But I would like to know; what the hell is that on Downing's hand? Playing with a broken wrist or is he just rocking the MJ look? I've never been a fan of his but every time he gives the ball away he flails that hand around as if that's the reason he can't pass using his right foot!

  • enjoyed the game last night in the effra hall. some pretty decent football from liverpool. done in a classic smash n grab. agger shat himself when it came to dealing with both macauley and lukaka.

    fuck yes. nice one albion

  • Take LFC out of this thread and it would be the dullest thread on the forum. The LFC shit storm is what keeps me coming back at the moment. It's one of the most enjoyable things to read in real-time action. I doubt it that there is a set of fans in this thread that get as easily trolled as the LFC ones.

Thank you, yes all of you, plastic cockney kopites.

  • ^repped

  • Nice to have Jonny on here. The voice of reason in all things other than ManU.

It is a real pity that you support them. You would be far more suited temeramentally to support of a minor side who will neverr do much bar hope and fight the odd promotion or relgation battle, like Crawley Town or Derby County.

  • Enough of the fucking love in.

Has Lukaku scored more goals than Torres now?

  • Has Bale signed for a big club yet?

  • Clive's pa is letting typos thru again.

  • My North London Cypriot colleague, who supports Liverpool obviously, was telling another colleague this morning that this was now a rebuilding season for a proper tilt at the title next year.

    I guffawed.

  • My Cypriot colleague

Andy, are you working in a chip shop then these days?

    Any chance of a discount?

    yes

    Xenophobe.

  • Refreshing

@DanielAgger: I agree with most of you. My performance the last 10 minutes of yesterday's game was NOT good enough. It's as simple as that!!!!!

    Must be a spoof account

  • Didn't realise that Rameye was Scottish btw.

  • Andy, are you working in a chip shop then these days?

    Any chance of a discount?

No, he needs them for his shoulder.

  • Let's get back onto the Stylish ones.
At long last, Torres finds something he is good at

Some pretty stylish cup cakes there

  • Xenophobe.

    Racist. Not xenophobic.
He didn't say "Cypriot chipshops are awful".
More "he's a Cypriot, I presume he works in a chippy. I like chips. Can I have a discount?"

  • We did chips (and gravy) weeks ago >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • That was before we found out about Andy possibly getting a discount.

  • Score update. uppies -0 Downies 0

  • Are you there Rich?
It's a cold day to go in the brook.

    Oh and it's upp'ards and down'ards.

There is a great chippy in Ashbourne, good gravy.

  • no just got the radio on, they keep going back to it,
duly noted upp'ards down'ards. I love those daft old games,

  • Clive's pa is letting typos thru again.

My father (he never went a bundle on the appelation "Pa") died of a brain tumour just over three years ago. It was diagnosed when he had difficulty seeing. In his latter days he was fond of writing farewell emails to his friends. Sadly he believed he could touch type and was unable to see ethe results of his typing. My mother tells me that she did not havethe heart to let him know that he was just sending gibberish. So it is not so my my father letting typos through as me following in a family tradition.
