Well, as stated, on paper it is a team full of internationals... in reality, I have no choice but to agree with you as my op said.

I love these too big to go down discussions, like there should be some sort of escape clause for relegation based on your size, history or pedigree of your overpaid underperforming oafs. At risk of stating the bleeding obvious, if you don't get enough points, you go down.
If West Ham can be relegated anyone can, they won the World Cup ffs.

anyways, where did Kenwright find £7m to sign a box to box midfielder?
-
• #75136
He didn't - he's borrowed it against the sale of Fellaini. Obvies.

Wow wow wow. Fer has been instrumental in getting Twente back to the top of the Eredivisie. He's only 23 and has been probably been their best midfielder over the last 18 months, the club needs the money to balance the books as they banked on a Douglas transfer earlier this season.
He's a great signing, like you say, and will probably take over from Fellaini in midfield, strong head and legs, thinks before he passes, does not stop running, ever. at £7m it's another shrewd piece of business by Moyes/Everton. He's easily worth £12m in my book. Also been called up to the NL team for the Italy game.
Never heard of him, is he better than Jordan Henderson?

Brenda sent out an unprepared team then is trying to shift the blame onto the 'youngsters'.
Whining about an under strength team means nothing in the context of Premiership also-rans vs League 1 struggles. A weaker team should be able to trot away to a comfortable win.
Brenda really in struggling
The youngsters that he bought let's not forget
He's one cunt that Rodgers

At less than half price, yes. Personable bloke as well. Has hir career path well thought out. Forced through a transfer from Feyenoord to Twente (step up) and 18 months later leaves them for Everton (PL is a big step up for anyone) whilst Twente got a ROI of 50%.
My guess is he'll do well, his handling speed, strength fitness all seem to be tailor made for the PL. Time will tell.

The beauty of buy out clauses I guess.

Daily Mash get their claws into Brent
BRENDAN Rodgers has confirmed that getting beaten by Oldham was exactly what he had intended.
If you see a chess board, you have failed
Speaking from behind his steepled fingers and sat next to an enormous globe, the Liverpool manager confirmed that all the pieces on the chessboard inside his brain are moving into place.Rodgers said: “Every shanked pass, every dropped cross, they’re all cogs in a plan far too complex to explain in your clumsy earth tongue.
“Progression to the fourth round would have shattered my exquisitely delicate scheme like Sebastian Coates jumping onto an egg made of spun sugar. Wheels within wheels, my friend. Wheels within wheels.”
Since Rodgers’ appointment players have been banned from any references to ‘playing football’ and instead must describe it as ‘The Process’.
‘The Process’ goes beyond standard training and tactics to include counting blades of grass and learning how to install geothermal heating systems.
The players were also instructed to travel to Sierra Leone and hand over a secret package to ‘The Turk’.
Rodgers added: “The eagle cannot consider the fears of the rabbit.”

Apparently Dutch media reported that Fer has got an imminent court case coming up, Twente thought the better of it and sold him on to the first interested club that came for him.
