Between the Geordie wife beater and the bucktoothed racist &
your girlie " couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo, british transfer record, worlds top 10 most expensive player " and your we've spent more on managers than most teams have spent on players in the last 10 years ..... we've kept the premiershit entertained
yes it's been a riot hasn't it !
-
• #74753
you are up to £70mn now for managers in the last 2 or so years

suarez joined before carroll DEFINATELY, i think, in the very same transfer window
http://www.transferleague.co.uk/premiership-transfers/liverpool-transfers.html
and we swapped torres out for carroll on the last day of the jan transfer windowgood buisiness all round, except for carroll and torres
I was mid facepalming looking at your previous post but I think you're right, there were no games between the two though.
-

No, he joined us a few days before. I believe they had one or two games together. Possibly not as Torres was injured but they were both our players a tthe same time for a short period
Suarez's first game was home to stoke where he scored on 2nd feb... no torres

Tweets from BBC sportsday feed. Only one of these statements is correct. Which one is it?
Batmanu Ebou on Twitter: "Absolutely gutted that Zaha is joining Man Utd. He is just the player Arsenal need to get back into the top four."
[Bill Beedie on Twitter:](https://twitter.com/beedieman/status/294464222157484033) "Zaha good value at £15m. MUFC buying potential and Fergie's the man to bring the best out of Zaha." [Jack Green on Twitter:](https://twitter.com/GreenJack_/status/294456917273767937) "Zaha has great potential, definitely not worth £15m though."

I'll give you all a clue. It's not the first one.

did anyone notice how many english players started for liverpool against norwich
there can't be too many teams who can put that many out and after our first substitution it went up to 8 !
i know jamie carragher won't be a regular starter but we are developing a good squad of slightly overpriced young english players and jamie and stevie ! -

Beeb are on fire today. I'm glad this is what my license fee goes towards.
Barcelona midfielder **Xavi, **32, will extend his contract with the Spanish giants until 2006, the club confirms. Forward **Lionel Messi **and defender **Carles Puyol **also announced they will sign contract extensions on Wednesday.

-
• #74762
Hmm.
Who can spot the flaw in that table? -
• #74763
Mike?
-
• #74764
Anyone?
-
• #74765
Spurs, L'pool and Norwich started with 7 English players.
Villa 6 starters
Man U and West Ham 5 starters.last weekend
-
• #74766
Frequency would be good.
-
• #74767
It'd be good to get an idea if there was a correlation to english players and points gained.
-
• #74768
^ not if you take Villa.
-
• #74769
there's this...
but it just shows that English strikers are a bit shit.
-
• #74770
Hmm.
Who can spot the flaw in that table? The teams with less english players seem to be doing better in the league ?
Not a flaw per se
-
• #74771
The most relevant figure might be points earned per man minute of English players on the pitch.
-
• #74772
Where did my posts go?
Yeah. That's exactly it.I need to go home.
-
• #74773
Ru- The second table just shows that maybe not many English players at those clubs score goals.
-
• #74774
eg WBA have 1 goal from their 5 English players. Who probably don't play up front.
Whereas Stoke have Michael Owen.

and you're actually better off buying forrens ( well if you are southampton at least )
last time i'll use that joke promise ... the last time i used it it got me rep point !
There was definately a couple of days when we had both - but it wasn't much longer than that, i think nando had submitted his transfer request then.
