When Benitez took over we were second in the league only four points off the top. We have now be thrown out of two competitions under his guidance and are effectively out of the league and in real danger, on current form, of not qualifying for Europe next season.

Ranieri, Mourinho, Grant, Scholari, Ancellotti, AVB and RDM were all fired for less.

The only saving of this is that it really shows how poorly things are going at Arsenal when Wenger fails to beat Benitez' strategy. Laudrup, Alladyce, Rednapp and many others have shown how easy it is to shut out a team playig Benitez' inflexible system .

Rafa was a decent manager. Did well with valencia and Liverpool. There have been two good things he has done at chelaea.pushing Luis in to midfield and.....oh only one god thing. Not anti Rafa but things not going well. Thought things were on the turn but there is a lack of flexibility with his tactics.
