Big game for Chelsea this weekend, our defence is as clueless as it was under AVB's tenure and it shows that Rafa is trying to reinvent the wheel once again. It also shows how much Chelsea rely on Cech's leadership from the back.
Turnbull hasn't been able to keep things calm and perhaps they need to start thinking about bringing Courtois in as serious back up.
Lastly, the whole Lampard saga is completely blown out of proportion by the media, he's 35 and on astronomical wages considering his age. If he takes a hefty pay cut or is willing to go on a pay as you play deal I'd keep him on, but 2 years fixed I can see why the club don't want to commit. Cole on the other hand should get a 2 year contract, period. Still one of the 5 best left backs in the world. And don't give me that bullshit that Baines is better, perhaps his stats are better at Everton but he's never been tested at the highest level, unlike Cole.
