Ah, but if efc had other revenue streams it could help increase profits...
too subtle?

the new sky tv deal should boost clubs incomings
although to rely on that alone would be foolish
time for mr kenwright to write a new west end blockbuster -

If Everton were a musical, which musical would they be?

Good move, I guess that's Theo gone?
Forward line of Walcott, Podolski, Giroud and Ox seems too big to keep them all happy.

Holtby has said he wants to leave Germany and will almost 100% be playing in the Premiership next summer.
My guess is he'll go to Spurs - can you get out of a pre-contract? He wants champions league football.I'd say there's a pretty good chance he may end up going to Man United.

Nope, Theo should sign a contract in the next 12 days by all accounts. Recent events (him playing up top) and an improved offer from Arsenal seems to have got it done - I think about 90k, 4 years, with a multi-million signing on fee.
I think it does spell the end for Gervinho though

He's permacrocked though. And the Brazilian league haz big bucks these days
-

It's a bit of a crazy deal and he wanted to move back to Brazil.
He now owns 40% of his rights - rather than taking a signing on fee (which would have made the deal unviable for Corinthians).

No doubt he'll donate most of it to his batshit crazy church

Tenderloin, the only thing with a player wanting Champions League football is in the premiership at least, if he's not signing for Chelsea, Man U, City, or Arsenal, he's taking a risk. Despite ourselves and Everton, breaking into the CL places in the recent past, right now those four are the ones who have reserved a seat at the top table, and you'd have to think a bit more about the other attributes of that pack of clubs just below, Spurs, Everton, Liverpool, (no disrespect to the new up and comers, West Brom, Swansea, Newcastle - despite their falling away this season) who are ambitious and wanting to get into those places. Manager, stadium, back room set up, training facilities, and the all important ambition in the "project"

wow the poor perfromances are really having an effect on mr wenger aren't theyIf I were David Villa, I'd want to be paid at least 3 times whatever Theo Walcott earns, 'cos Villa even when he's 34 will be 5 times the player Walcott will ever be.

Yes, what about it?
Porto don't own him outright and will want as much money as possible.

A really shit one. South pacific. Or that "nine".
Expansive classic singing in the rain would have to be united.
Songs about faded glory, heading to the worst of times, Cabaret: clearly about Liverpool. Or forest.Managerial merry go round Chelsea: seven brides for seven brothers.

Cornpipe: why are you so perplexed by YJC following the cash?
He's going to a good manager, he tried France and didn't really get on with it, he's going to be paid money; when his game is based on confidence, this really has the last roll of the dice feel to it. -

Joao Moutinho has for my money been the most impressive midfielder in europe over the past 12 months.
He is an incredible talent. I think the closer Tottenham get to a deal, the more other clubs will pay attention, I would be very surprised if Manchester United did not show interest.CB, I agree, which is why I think Man Utd may swoop - Valencia and Nani have been inconsistent and Giggs isn't getting any younger, someone like Holtby could be a very good shout for them.

Valencia would walk into any team in the epl. Even when he was crocked. One trick. Yes. And they all fall for it.
@ Dicki, Everton need a new stadium like we do, matchday revenue is all important, and players wages aren't coming down anytime soon, and I'm not sure how Everton can afford a new stadium.. Stuck in a catch 22
@Punnage, Livermore needs first team football, and he's stuck behind too many good players who do what he does, tackle, press, pick a simple pass, better than he does to get regular football. he's one of the few players from our youth system to make the grade (almost) but for his career to progress he'll probably have to leave.
