there were 3 or 4 more fouls after that went un-punished, then Villa picked up a yellow for a tackle on owen, in fact utd didn't get a player booked till the 40th min. Rafael got away with two fouls in 2 minutes and still no booking.
Ref was poor!

From people emailing in to the guardian MBM who have seen the slow-mo of the challenge it seems that Ramsey just nicked the ball away at the last millisecond and Shawcross came in at such a speed that he couldn't stop himself from colliding with Ramseys leg. One even said that it wasn't a certain red and only the extent of the injury forced the Referee into sending him off
