As for the poor English crop of players (and kind of in defence of the teams); Lennon/Downing/Milner/Barry etc... Could all be classed as past failures that the clubs have hopefully learned from - there were some decent displays by younger players this weekend so maybe the future is looking good for the England team. Allegedly Allen had a go at Suarez at half time for not tracking back to give him options.

suarez then told the entire changing room that without him they would be nothing and its the rest of the players who are not up to the shirt

Rodgers apparently tried to placate allen who was irate but then said nothing to suarez who said nothing to anyone until they went back out.

This is from a normally good source at chelsea. make of it what you will. but it sort of adds up why he got blanked post goal.

Remember, without Suarez, you will have to rely on "Owen Goals" to score more for your team. No one else is likely to score at the moment.
