Speaking of which has B&D gone now?

Got to feel sorry for Arsenal fans today. I feel a mass arse shafting is on the cards. I would expect United to score at least 6 today

Initially moving to near Monmouth/Abergavveny for a couple of months but will be looking to move to Bristol in time for Springtime.
Being that far away will mean slim chances of being anywhere near the Boleyn ground for sometime. Hence why I can't pass this ticket up, it's also in the Bobby Moore Lower (where I used to sit when I had a season ticket).

That really is the middle of nowhere

Woah! That is bumfuck nowhere.
Will make Brizzle seem like a gleaming, sophisticated metropolis when you get there.

Still. It will be nice to have the Black Mountains on your doorstep. I like the climbs round those parts, we should do a winter football thread trip up the Devils staircase, done in the true style of the football thread.
ie. we talk about it but never actually go.

Holloway's gone to Palace. Colour me surprised, are Palace that much bigger a club than Blackpool? I know they have a good youth team set up, and some good pieces with Zaha top of the list. But are they a team which is going to get into the Premiership this time around? And if they do, will those young players make the step up for you?
Alternatively what if you miss out this time round, how many of those young 'uns are going to be around for another try.I like Holloway, and the football his teams try and play, but I am a bit bemused by the merry go round, that Dougie Freedman, ejecting himself out of a club where he was having much success to one, which feels like its just throwing money at a bad situation, has created..
Who do Blackpool now get in?

Gary Megson is available.

Holloway is an idiot.
I don't know why he's "rated" in the press.Freedman was encouraged to talk to Bolton by the palace bosses wasn't he? South London press seems to think so. I vaguely badly remember.
Palace have also stated that zaha isn't for sell.
Holloway is a retrograde step. I repeat, he's a fucking idiot.

Owen coyle.

Who do you think Blackpool will go for Cornie?
-
• #68241
Chalfie, i have no idea.
I'm not across who the good up and coming young managers are in the championship, and league one.
I'm sure someone with a bit of ambition will put their hat in the ring.. Blackpool just missed out last term so they've got the players..

Worst united v arsenal line ups for many a year.

Cant understand holloway to palace to be honest. used to think he was 'rent a country bumpkin quote' but respect what he has done at blackpool.

• #68244
Ref lets cleverley stay but cards wilshere for that? Very poor
-
• #68245
Hrd warned both of them, Ferg took his hothead off. Arsene didn't.
Yellow. Off.Sounded like sense on the radio.

Wilshire hardly touched him. cleverley defo earnt a second yellow. van persie was also lucky to get a yellow for his scything. Arsenal are a poor team though. the new liverpool

Although I definitely feel like if Wilshere went, then Cleverley should have gone also - I'm not if that's just me being an Arsenal fan.
We are well off were Manchester and Chelsea are right now. Today showed this clearly. There's a gulf right now.
For me losing Diaby and Gibbs has had a really big impact on our play. I'm not sure what Podolski is really bringing to the formation. I'd sooner see Santi pushed into that role.
I still think that come the end of the season we will be the top London team and have 2 trophies.

How? Chelsea and spurs are clearly better than arsenal. lets be honest, you fluked reading in the week because of fergie time
-
• #68250
Because Spurs are Spurs.
And I think there are many weaknesses in the current Chelsea squad - that will show themselves in the fullness of time.
I've wagered enough Chelsea plastics/liverpool mugs/yiddos this season to prove I'm not just saying it.
I'm meant to be moving out of London today into the middle of bum fuck nowhere but have been given a ticket to West Ham vs Man City that I cannot pass up.
COYI!
