That was my response to the fact that Dicki thought Leighton Baines and Bradley Wiggins looked alike.
Do keep up.
I messed up. I meant to quote your statement about crywanks from 2 pages back. Whom were you referring to?

So the Ballon d'Or shortlists are out.
Players:
Sergio Agüero, Xabi Alonso, Mario Balotelli, Karim Benzema, Gianluigi Buffon, Sergio Busquets, Iker Casillas, Cristiano Ronaldo, Didier Drogba, Radamel Falcao, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Andrés Iniesta, Lionel Messi, Manuel Neuer, Neymar, Mesut Özil, Gerard Piqué, Andrea Pirlo, Sergio Ramos, Wayne Rooney, Yaya Touré, Robin van Persie, Xavi. What on earth is Balotelli doing on that list? For some lolz at the ceremony probably, as he turns up on a solid gold Skidoo with a homeless man aboard to park it, and can't get in to the venue as he pushes the pull door.
The token inclusion of Rooney is a sad indictment on the state of English football.

^^^
It was a general statement towards the general outcry of angst that was being written on this here thread by some sore losers. Surely some of you should be used to it by now. I know I am. -

football is moving in the direction of WWF Wrestling
soon they'll be bringing folding chairs to smack each other with on the pitchand putting barbed wire on the corner flags
they've already got the diving and rolling around on the floor sortedwhere's giant haystacks when they need him
-
• #67857
balotelli's probably on there because of his european championship exploits, and man city winning the league..

He'd be the only one with the conscience and balls to make a statement to the football heirachy and the world, the lack of action taken on the issue of racism within the game.
I still struggle with the fact that Platini said anyone walking off the pitch would be punished. So to play the 'beautiful' game certain people must give up on their basic human rights on crossing the line because the authorities have chosen to pass on their responsibilities. -

Clattenburg threatening Mata. Not sure if this is the racist insult aimed at Mata but shows that Clattenburg had lost it before he even sent Torres off.

I thought that they had a highly trained team of lip readers ready for these eventualities.

It ends with "but that's not my fault".

When Torres got sent off De Gea put his glove to his mouth and said something to Fernando. Makes you think that there might be some sort of Spanish inquisition.

Clattenburg has been dropped for this weekend but not because he is suspended but because the FA think that it would be inappropriate given the publicity stirred up after yesterday's game.
A short while ago certain people in the press were demanding that anyone accused of racist behaviour be suspended pending investigation. Let's see what they say this time......
Don't hold your breath.
Er a short while ago numerous members of this thread were still berating friends and families, for making sure their loved ones didn't die in vein and for the lies perpetuated by the police, the media and FELLOW fans up and down the country to be revealed. Funny, since the lid has been left jar, many of those gobs have remained silent thus far....
Knowing the cunts that dwell here, I too will not hold my breath.

From twitter
BREAKING: Mark Clattenburg is set to be sacked by the F.A, as video evidence reveals the referee called Fernando Torres a 'striker'.

Chelsea fans here calling for the head of Clattenberg based on alleged racism need to have a firm look at themselves. Exactly how many of you called for Terry's head?

Any idea what he's saying or just telling him to shush?
That's quite a sensitive word in this thread...
Battenburg's alleged to have called Mata a "Spanish twat" and then some colour-related nastiness was aimed at Mikel.

What I like about gerrard;
Never let facts get in the way.
Understand the word "think".I would rather hear a lino say "I think so" than "I believe so".
In addition, can we stop crywanking now?
Next week's plotlines are going to be released in a day or so. -

rumours appearing that chelsea officials and jon obi clashed with clattenberk after the game
and that the chelsea officals made the racist complaint
i've heard the chelsea officals are a bit " hotheaded " at times and a bit overzealous with their stewardingnice to see the " neutral " stewards getting involved, wonder if abramovich has men now following clattenberk with a nice bit of polonium wrapped up in some sushi
-
• #67870
The last thing Abramovich needs to do is actually get involved.

Keeper of the chevrons is quiet.
slightly related to this thread http://www.cnbc.com/id/49568596
via the power of analogy someone likened the UK to a variety of footballs teams
my fave .... glad they used AV instead of Liverpool
The U.K.s economy is like Aston Villa, the English football club from Birmingham: The club was great once, but is great no longer, Elliott and Atkinson write in their book Going South: Why Britain Will Have a Third World Economy by 2014.
According to the book, public policy in the U.K. [in the past 100 years] has been conducted like the economy is a Manchester United or an Arsenal, but it isnt.
