he did seem to know what to do last night ?
albeit against lowly opposition -

Despite all of the hype and the group of death stuff, this is probably one of the most turgid games of football I've had the misfortune to watch for a while.
When real want to it feels like its men against boys. Only city players to come out with any credit in the first half: toure; hart; and kompany.Christ how did city win the league playing as timidly as this. So defensive, so lacking in the passing department. come on grow a pair city!

The Spanish commentary's so funny. Chats over the Dzeko goal then screams at Marcelo's.

• #65755
Would Maicon have stopped that?
-
• #65756
probably not.

We got absolutely battered by Palace tonight, went a goal down, a man down then somehow equalised at the death. Nearly made it bearable going to Croydon.

So that money is helping you overcome the championship giants that are Palace? Well done!
In other news, with Paul Coutts back in the team we bossed the mighty Charlton and Will Hughes looks like he will go on to great things. Hopefully we can keep him for at least the rest of the season before cashing in.

Will Hughes was tipped at the beginning of the season by Ollie Wright.
Let's see what he's like at Christmas time. I hope we keep him, but if (like mason bennet)he's all that.....
I see him moving to spurs and, wait, we've been here before haven't we?

Mason has still got time to prove himself. Like many "wonder kids" he is great for his age, but he hasn't lived up to overhyped expectations in the first team. Hughes however, has proven he's the real deal so far this season. I expect united to be looking at making an offer as they look to be putting a youthful team together.

Mason bennet = dean sturridge ?
We never cashed in on him.

We could've and should've cashed in on Sturridge when Arsenal were offering stupid money for him. I'd like to think we can at least get a Seth Johnson type fee (as opposed to a Tom Huddlestone type fee) for at least one of ether Hughes or Bennet.

Or a Giles Barnes.....

Well said, worst game of football I've seen in years. If only City were more like Spurs.
