wow so the justice for the 96 campaign really did work
good for them
wonder if the sun will apologise ?They have, There is a video on this page....

I think they do that because the 'journalist' has ALWAYS just asked the same question in a slightly different way 6 times already, therefore the player has to basically repeat his answer. The fact that the previous 3 'journalists' also asked the same question in 7 different ways does not help.
Bolllocks! They've all been on the same media 'training' course. Dullards the lot of them.

best player out there......
he was fucking shite. gave the ball away every 2 minutes (like he does at liverpool)
lampard should have been captain the whole time
You really are a silly cunt.
Fuck off please.

Whilst today is about "Justice for the 96 lost and their families and loved ones" surely that should go on the "The Tories and Police are a bunch of dirty fascist scumbags" thread, not the football thread?
Oh no! According to many here Liverpool is a city of self pity and everything relating to this case should have been forgotten long long ago.

are you seriously denying that gerrard gives the ball away all the time?
hes fucking useless.
So many times has he given the ball away and the opposition have scored

I think he was more concerned with your CliveO-lite blinkered view that every chelsea player plays magnificently, and every other player is tosh.
-
• #65683
Maybe.
But he's right about Gerrard, he galumps around the pitch miss timing tackles and playing hollyrood passes.Lampard still has a role to play, but the quicker we initiate some younger and more imaginative players the better.
Wilshere, Cleverley, Sterling, Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Caulker, Welbeck, Rodwell, Sturridge, Walker etc are the players we want to be building around for the next tournament.

I was going to bring this up as well but not till tomorrow
Gerrard does make too many hollywood passes and is culpable for 2 goals this season albeit indirectly

Isnt this true?

I'll await to see what the biggest mouths that have thus far been silent have to say.
Personally I'd love to see mckenzie swingin' - a man whom the *un saw fit to recently invite to write another column. Vile human being. Also the head of Yorkshire police, whom has since retired with full honours and a massive pension. In fact add the lawyer to the police that took the decision to alter statements.
One of Stevie Me's issues have been mainly the dross that he's had around him- forcing him to take the weight of the team. When surrounded with quality direction and personel under Rafa, you'd hardly accuse him of that stuff with Xabi, and Mascherano around him. Lest we forget he was one the few to play with any credit at the last world cup.
Nipping this^ and the twat that is Suarez in the bud right now are Roger's biggest challenges. Louis needs to be fucked off to the wing, where he was devastating when he first signed, whom now thinks he's the daddy and bullies team mates on the pitch.

I've never denied that. Look back and you'll see my grumblings about this going back a couple of years.

Holywood passes think Alonso, Pirlo, Ozil, Iniesta etc
Holyrood passes Gerrard, Adam etc

Clint, Dan Ashworth is leaving you to head over to the FA, how is this going to affect your stability?
Good article, opened my eyes certainly..

That's bad news for west brom. Think I mentioned this guys name a few weeks ago. He is part of a system but a key part and will be hard to replace. Personally think he is a mug going to the F.A. But obviously he is ambitious within his field. He will probably do 2 years at the F.A. Get disillusioned and then get snapped up by man utd , man city etc. One thing is for sure, when he retires at 65 he will look back on his career and his time at west brom will have been his most enjoyable and fruitful. Good luck mr. ashworth

^^ Balls... really bad news for us.

In Peace we trust Tim. It was Peace who brought him in, set up the system and has overseen 10 years of improvement. I like the fact that article acknowledged we would miss ash worth more than Hodgson.....too fucking right
-
• #65694
^ agreed; it doesn't spell the end but i'd rather keep him than let him go.
I'm certainly interested to see who they bring in as a replacement...
-
• #65695
They could do a lot worse than someone like Pim Verbeek or Foppe de Haan. Both are well connected and used to working in a similar set up. Peace is a shrewd man who doesn't mind making unpopular decisions and in the long run he's been proven right.
Sacking di Matteo when he brought them up with such style wasn't an easy thing to do. Getting Hodgson in made the team more secure (and dull as well) both it also made the club more high profile for the next candidate.

• #65696
For me his only real error was allowing Robson to take us back down after the great escape but even that would be harsh. Before we brought Odemwingie we didn't really have a goal scorer at this level and that ultimately makes it virtually impossible to stay up
