I'm guessing Grey, the reds would still be chatting about how they used to take out bicycles and will do so again when the seasons change.

We call it 'Harrogate'.
We'll have none of your hard vowels around here. You say it properly.

"The Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill has revealed that he could have been killed when he cracked his head on the floor in a freak bicycle accident caused by a squirrel."
Should have been wearing a helmet.
[Lights fuse, exits thread]
Don't think they make them that small and anyway they wouldn't be much use if you get caught in some plonkers front wheel.

So that's Owen and Del Piero they've missed out on...what next; Vassell to York City? Beattie to Colchester Utd, Heskey to Coventry City?

Apparently he'd already given his word to Sydney before we came a calling. As a short term fix we could have done worse
-
• #65548
Maybe you can get him next season...
-
• #65549
Morientes would come out of retirement for you lot and Stan "boot the swede" Collymore would definitely dust off his dubious coloured boots for a term...
-
• #65550
craig johnson is looking to test his new boots, too
Ah, but unlike those you refer to, I don't believe that having success in the past is in any way relevant to the present, I don't think he should have had more or less of a chance than anyone else.
My point is, you can't pin all that spending on him alone, we really don't know how much influence he had over those decisions, if any at all.
So you can blame Kenny for pretty much everything on-pitch, but it's really not so clear cut off the pitch.
