^ Good appointment for Villa. Cunts.
The Baggies should have made him target as well instead of Ray Wilkins >>>
Going from Norwich to West Brom is hardly advancing his career is it? It would be a Ray Wilkins-esque move, i.e. sidewards.

I believe mssrs Hansen and Lawrenson call it "tracking back".

Bit of a boring game this evening. Still, another victory with a clean sheet is not be sniffed it.
Roy Hodgson may achieve the elusive thing and make Team England bearable -

At least Gerrard might be able to give a decent performance for his national team that differs from the utter crap he produces domestically.

Gerrard completed 15 passes, 11 of them to his back four. No wonder he got

Didn't even know England were playing today 'til I saw the score on SSN
I was more interested in hearing Coldplay pumping out across Islington from The Emirates

When you look at the dross that they had to choose from, they could only award him with MoTM.

There is something so right about Coldplay playing in Islington. I reckon it's karma, every borough gets what it deserves.

Bog off Jaw. We've got Pisti which is exactly what we deserve.

There is a lot more that you got, you're probably not aware of it, yet anyway.I saw them play about four times in Lambeth.
Commiserations. Nobody deserves to listen to their tedious crap that often.

Jesus, that's a bit harsh. Was it a punishment?

Sad to see Hodgson taking control of an international team and having more talent at his disposal than ever before in his career and yet still sets his teams up to bore the pants off of everybody. For Fucks sake...a home friendly against Belgium!! a chance to open up and play with some spirit, free of nerves and worry about the result and he lines up his two banks of 4 and tells the wingers to sit and never make forward runs at any cost. Thank fuck we got shot of the boring bastard. (Jonny you know i'm posting this just to break up the monotony of getting laid)

Free beer is never a punishment. Besides, I went with another band.

^ ^ A lot of what's wrong with English football there.
1.England can't play an expansive game, making them try is the quickest way to concede and then just resort to the long ball.
- Belgium on paper have one of the best squads in Europe. England on the other hand?

this is harsh. Norwich will probably get relegated next season. We have always been a bigger and better club than norwich with respect. Villa are bigger than us and have potential to be top 7 but they are some way from that at the moment. Good luck to lambert though I think he is a great catch for villa. He will however spend much of next season looking over at us wishing he'd been approached by us.

on paper England have a great keeper, the world's best left back, some great centre backs a brilliant striker and some very good midfielders. A good manager would come in and motivate them to play exciting football knowing that they would probably get no further than usual but at least give the paying and travelling fans something to be proud of. A lot of teams have adopted this approach in the domestic leagues rather than the old fashioned way of Hodgson and they have enjoyed some relative success. Harry would have given us some fun this summer. Woy on the other hand is going to fuck us in the ass real hard. A manager, especially at international level, needs to motivate not to coach. What the fuck is Woy teaching these guys anyway?
Get the lads together 2 days before the match and go and have some beers together. Wake up and have a fry up then roll out and have a 5-a side kick around. go to bed. wake up and play the game. simples. - Belgium on paper have one of the best squads in Europe. England on the other hand?

"some very good midfielders"? Perhaps you mean wingers. The only decent central midfielders I can think of are either injured or not in the squad.
And the only exciting football England usually play is desperate kick and run. I happy to give that up.
And note point 3.

There are some very good midfielders who play in England - they're just not English.

Wisest thing said on this thread in a very, very long time.
You want Hazard to tear apart Cahill, Terry, and Cole?
Good thing your wish hasn't come true yet, isn't it?
