  • I'll do it for half what Kenny was paid.

  • I will need a translator.

  • And I refuse to wear a tracksuit.

  • Carragher will be the first to make me a cup of tea. Prick.

  • United are not renewing Michael Owen's contract, maybe this is a ploy to put himself in the running for the Liverpool job ;)

  • or our new striker
he'll be able to show of the two premiershit medals he " won "

  • Kopite outside Anfield last night:

"Problem with Kenny is you should never go back"

Reporter: "So who would you have now?"

    "Rafa!"
    *[/I]
You can't make this shit up!!

  • A Liverpool fan on local radio who was interviewed allegedly said summat like:

Fan: 'Kenny's now learned that you should never go back, it never works'
Interviewer 'Who would you like to see in now ?'
    Fan: 'Rafa'

I've seen the sky sports interview of this (not local radio)... they didn't show him saying Rafa... I've seen no actual evidence of this. I feel internet high jinks are at play... until I see the an actual vid it's just lols

Don't get me wrong some knuckle dragger could certainly say that... could also be some class trolling from our neighbours across the park...

Aye - that's why I said allegedly. Was all over Twitter evn RT'd by journos.

Even if true, the people who hang around outside footy grounds when their ain't a match on hoping to be interviewed tend to be utter bellends.

    a thousand times yes...

Yet Pisti would take that as a significant sample of all kopites I'm sure

Yep. Similar in nature to the freaks who queue up outside iStore or whatever it's called.
    Knobs the lot of them

  • Far be it from me to point out the glaringly obvious

Mourinho will be my first choice in an instant. But it is not going to happen

If that happens I will cut off my head
He's a miserable little cunt with a chip on his shoulder the size of Britain. The last thing we need is an ex-Cheslea wanker

  • Never mind this Champions league shit, the most important game in Europe will be played at Hampden Park on Saturday when the glorious Hearts will take on the the dastardly fenian Hibees.

  • ^Delusional post, but that is hardly out of place on this thread.

  • The most important game this weekend happens to be at Wemberley.

  • No-one gives a toss about the sweaty sock soft league.

  • League one play off final, to see who you will be facing next season?

  • Come and play at Brum Mickey Owen!

  • No-one gives a toss about the sweaty sock soft league.

Actually it is the Scottish Cup not the SPL.

  • league one play off final, to see who you will be facing next season?

    fact.

  • Come and pick up a soft injury then not be able to play while we still have to foot your excessive wage bill at Brum Mickey Owen!

    ftfy

  • Anyone else off to Munich for the weekend?

    Nope, Sunderland today.

In the morning I get the train to Whitehaven and spend three days pub crawling on two wheels back to Sunderland.

Good luck Chelski and Blackpool. Not supporting you but I would rather you than your odious opponents. Also want to see Spuds lose their CL spot, try to moan only to realise that no one really cares about them.

  • John H why would a manager at a team that has just won the double, and will be in the champions league next season, come to Liverpool? Serious question. Klopp's onto a good thing over at Dortmund, a good young team, the chance to build something worthwhile, and the realistic thought that the kids in the team can only get better.
    Why go to Liverpool?
    The money?
The lure of the premier league?
The chance to be ridiculed by the british press, when things get difficult?

    Good question.

    Money
    lure of the premier league
a new challenge (not much more he can do in Germany)
most of his stars are probably going to leave in the next season or two
Owners who match his idea of building up young players, rather than buying in established stars.

I'm not sure he would leave, but if he did, I would love to see him at LFC, above any other manager right now.
