For Taggart to cark it.

A very interesting move by LFC.
The question remains, who was responsible for brining in the quartet of tripe for those inflated prices?
If it was Comolli, then he has paid the price for it. If it was KKK then I wonder what happened behind the scenes.
Either way, I feel this paves the way for Dalglish to stay on another season now.KKK has gone on the record before to say that all signings were approved by him first.
I think your last sentence is correct and for that reason alone I'm lollollollollollolloling as I type.

Maybe Comoli's out to make way for KK move upstairs? Not sure I believe he was the one to go British...Carroll and henderson may end up decent but we've enough youth that could have been integrated into a squad of more established players, otherwise the expectancy of top seems hopeful.

i like the way his face goes from glee to glum in the photo'sharry's got his eyes on the FA's big fat zero filled cheque book rather than concentrating on his own team
wonder if he'll end the season without any jobs ! -

OK. I have one spare ticket for tomorrow evening's FA Youth Cup semi final second leg game at Stamford Bridge between Chelsea and ManU. Chelsea lead 2-1 after the first leg. No away goals rule. Kick off 7 pm.
Would anyone like to accompany me, my elder daughter and a mate? No need to be a Chelsea supporter. Plastics welcome. Standard of play in the first leg put much Premier League football to shame.
Please let me know ASAP. would hate the ticket to go to waste.
No cost to you. My treat.
Free football, who could turn that down?
Thanks

Comoli's been made the scapegoat, it's Kinky that chose them
The good thing is, it's a clear indication that he's staying

Wrong thread, Clive. This one is for armchair fans.

Yes I fear you are right on both counts.
But, if KK chose them, who was it who agreed to pay 35 and 20 mill respective for Carroll and Henderson. If they had cost say 6 and 3 then we would have got a reasonable deal. Whoever sanctioned the purchase at those prices is who should be >>>>>>>> Or does the sole responsibility for that sit with the owners? -
• #56691
Or another way of looking at it is Mourinho will not work with a director of football, so they are paving the way for him to come in
-
• #56692
I thought that the owners had a relatively hands-off approach?

Which will suit Moaninho.

is it though? FSG said Comolli and KD agreed with all the decisions.
Binning KD right now wouldn't serve a purpose really
Saying that with Comolli gone Downing gets his first assist of the season

But when it's time to act, we need to act. We're coming close to the end of the season and the transfer window for the summer, and we felt it was important to make this change expeditiously.
...
as I said, we've been dissatisfied, as most supporters have been, with the results so far. But we're also talking about the future - we have a strategy we need implemented and we felt Damien was probably not the right person to implement that strategy.
Doesn't sound like family reasons to me...
lol
There is always next season
