  • Just about to pop off to Craven Cottage. Not sure if the game is on the box, but if it is, I hope all of you armchair pundits enjoy it.

Get ready for a Dempsey ploughing.

  • haven't seen the match, haven't read the reports but it's been coming..
need to get back some of that early season swagger, and that's never an easy thing to do.
Rather lose to Norwich than Sunderland, as I'm assuming Norwich came to play.

  • Fair play for getting back into the game, but West Ham play absolutely turgid football.

    BFS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Staying up!

That's a shame, hopefully another double next season. Just like Leeds today.

  • I fucking hate gary neville. He is the most dreadful half time analyist on sky.

  • That's a shame, hopefully another double next season. Just like Leeds today.

Yeah...well...we scored seven, and they had eleven men.

  • Probably a knee pad as required by the rules. Shocking I know but almost certainly true.

While Balotelli's actions are not acceptable, are they any worse than some of the antics of Rooney? The difference is that Rooney never gets booked for them.

Yes they are. He's a loon.
Clearly the reason that Rooney never gets booked, apart from the six times that he's been booked already this season, is that it's all a CONSPIRACY. I blame the Masons, the lizards, dark forces, lack of appropriate respect for Abramovich's/Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan's yachts/wads etc. etc. etc.

  • Yeah...well...we scored seven, and they had eleven men.

We beat you when we only had 10 men.

  • ...and when you only had 10 men.

  • Are the Chelsea fans getting their excuses ready?

  • Craven Cottage really is a shit hole

  • XH is that the best you have after fulham comprehensively outplayed you, created more, looked more dangerous and forced Cech into making two/three outstanding saves.

Waiting for the unswerving support of cliveo for the blues and their current style of play and how the ref, Martin jol, west london, the FA, and pretty much all of western Europe are involved in a conspiracy to keep Chelsea down...

Anyway fulham looked tasty, liked the look of frei who seems like another Lennon, but with a bit more end product, and dembele who always looked dangerous whenever he got the ball at his feet and looked to take on players.. Duff didn't seem to do much and riise charged forward alot and then had nothing to show once he'd got there...
Overall Chelsea lucky not to have lost, fulham unhappy they came away with a point..

  • Troll off Corney.

  • Maybe Allardyce should let them play "the West Ham way".

  • Clearly the reason that Rooney never gets booked, apart from the six times that he's been booked already this season...

that's not much when you play like rooney. he gets away with a lot. but in answer to the original question, yes ballotelli is worse.

  • Semifinal of the FA Youth Cup second leg at Stamford Bridge Friday 7pm.

    Chelsea v ManU

Chelsea lead 2-1 after first leg. No away goals rule.

TS sadly cannot make it and XH has now pulled out having seen too much excitement last Saturday.

Jaw, please let me know today if you want to come. I have a few people wanting tickets and am holding them pending you reaching your decision.

    Ta.

  • KKK rattling on about conspiracies now
I wonder what will happen once we fail to win this evening. Too close to an important game to sack him. If we lose on Saturday as well it will definitely be a case of >>>>>>>>>>>>

  • they won't sack him before the end of the season
we've got nothing to play for
we've as good as made the second final of the season
let him move up stairs at the end of the season back to his old role
bring in new premiership winning manager

    simples ?

  • You have won a cup though. The septics will be pleased.

  • Jaw, please let me know today if you want to come. I have a few people wanting tickets and am holding them pending you reaching your decision.

    Ta.

Thanks for the offer Mr. O, but I don't think I'll be up for it, I'm getting a molar removed that day and don't think I'll be in the mood to do anything but moan and sulk for the rest of the day.

  • that's not much when you play like rooney. he gets away with a lot. but in answer to the original question, yes ballotelli is worse.

He might get away with a bit, there's a long list of players who do.
He's probably the best player in the Premiership, Ballotelli is definitely the biggest dipshit. Along with that cheating buck toothed racist of course...

  • Is it just me or do teams managed by 'Arry always implode in the final third of the season; Spurs have strength in depth and on paper they should have had an easy run in, yet if they're not careful they'll end up empty handed. Purely based on this, 'Arry is the perfect fit for the England job.

As for Chelsea, not wanting to make excuses, we were unlucky not to get 3 points last night, Fulham had their chances and didn't take them, it took a deflection for them to score.
I'd say as much that Fulham are the team that progressed most in the PL this season, they play a well structured game and most players seem to have progressed under Jol's guidance, they have also sold their "best" striker and actually improved as a team by doing so. Dempsey is a very important player for them, so it's no surprise that the North London scum is looking to poach him, linking defence and and attack from midfield (like Pienaar does for Everton at the moment).

  • Jaw, I think, the lack of results for 'Arry's teams in the final third, if Tottenham season is anything to go by is, that his man management, seems to only stretch to the first team, and probably only those playing regularly. His lack of rotation, and keeping everyone involved and up for the challenge, from those on the fringes of the squad, to those on the subs bench seems to show he relies so heavily on the main players that as they fade so the teams form slumps with them, as he doesn't have anyone to switch them out for...

I think that being in europe or cup competitions gives you ample room to keep players interested, and competing for places, play well on thursday, might get a shot on sunday. Also our bench whilst strong isn't that deep, we lack quality with our subs or thrusting young 'uns who want to make an impression...

'Arry will have to use all his experience to make sure we don't fall away...

ps. how can you say chelsea were unlucky last night, you may have had 15 punts at goal, but only 3 were on target, and the only saves of note I can remember were all from Cech.. Fulham did more with less, 11 attempts, 7 on target, and felt like the team more likely to snatch a winner...

  • come on Newcastle

  • Massive game for millwall tonight against pompey. Esentially a 6 point game. Win and millwall should stay up.
