  • One for the Bielsa fan boys...http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/mar/07/marcelo-bielsa-athletic-bilbao-manchester-united

Corny, if 'Arry packs his bags then there would be worse trainers Levy could opt for.

  • ROBERT PIRES
    Ronaldo
    Suarez
    Gerrard
    Fabregas

    In that order

    ftfy

  • XH, I think Pires might have been before Pisti's time.

  • Drogba
    Hasselbaink
    Robben
    Ronaldo
    Suarez
    Gerrard
    Fabregas

    In that order

Likewise amazed that Pires was left off that list, also Cashley was pretty bad for it in his 1st couple of years in Arse first team. Word is that Adams told him to man up, and then he stopped. it.

However the most astonishing miss of this list is the Saint Michael Owen, formerly of Merseyside, Madrid, Tyneside & now Manchester.

Probably the most famous English diver of all, a former Liverpool 'great', yet missed by a Toffee. Is it because he is white?

  • Owen does go over like an Essex girl.

  • How many goals did Andy Johnson score from the penalty spot as an Everton player?

  • The dive against Argetina in 2002 was particularly shameless.

  • How many goals did Andy Johnson score from the penalty spot as an Everton player?

Probably more than he did from open play.

  • The biggest diver of all, by all accounts, was Francis Lee. Clive could probably confirm or deny this.

Oh wait, Francis played football before it was invented by Sky, Nick Hornby & the 3 Tenors.

  • Saw an ad last night after the CL highlights. The closing tagline: Imagine football in 3D>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Arsenal spend money on quality player over 21 shock.

  • Which player from Ligue 1 have they signed?

  • or the gambian / sierra leonean / senegalese 1st division ?

  • Which player from Ligue 1 have they signed?

That well known Frenchman Lucas Podolski.

    Cologne is in France, right?

  • or the gambian / sierra leonean / senegalese 1st division ?

Ligue 1 is the 2nd division of African football. Belgium is the 3rd.

  • What's the first?

  • What's the first?

Premier League. It seems to be where most of the African players want to be, and it was certainly what all the Nigerians I met in Kaduna were interested in.

Not quite, about 250km. So that will be the replacement for van Persie I guess.
Don't think it's an improvement but it's better than playing Walcott in that position.

  • little vid prior to avb being sacked... and about Rafa as potential manager

    He sacks who he wants,
    he sacks who he waaants
    Roman abramovitch
    He sacks who he wants!

    Genius from the cheski fans!
The special one will not go back. as for Pep.. never in a million years. you couldn't get two more contrasting clubs. one built on a foundation of skill and work rate with a great history and one built in a bent mans money and mouthy mediocre players like "lamps" and "terry"

they will get Woy and that will be the making of them

Messi looked alright last night. shades of Theo about him

Replacement for Chamakh and Park, stick another man in the box and those blind balls we pump in might just find a player.

RVP is a worry, I doubt he will hit this kind of form again with his injury issues and right now he could sign a contract to make him for life. but Arsenal wont give him that kind of money. shame to see him go but wouldn't be surprised. Wenger will find another

  • lots of press about man city preparing to take another arse player ooop north

    blue van man

arse will have to break the bank to keep him and their european cup spot

Why would Man City want him, especially for the sort of money Arsenal will want? If Nasri is worth £25 million, RvP has to be £50 +.

  • goals bill, goals

  • where would arsenal be without rvp this season? probably somewhere around villa.

  • goals bill, goals

Goals, sure, but his injury record is terrible, he hasn't managed to play even 2/3 of a season in the 8 years he has been with Arsenal.
