  • dicki you doughnut - 'Arry's not been offered it yet.

    yup thats right bodie

  • Parker = excellent choice
Harry obviously got a call in to Pearce early on that one.
Definitely the way forward as Gerrard will most likely retire from internationals after the Euros and thankfully we won't have to listen to all the miserable cunts moaning about how Gerrard shouldn't be captain. Which is a massive blessing

  • Is Gerrard the last of the 'Golden Generation' of serial underachievers ?

Ronnie: In still playing for England? Or just still playing?

  • Not as big a tool as Colin though.

I beg to differ, for all his faults he got us promoted (albeit on the back of Taarabts one man show), plus Hughes is ex-Chelsea which places him in the 'fucking scum' category.

  • watch out lads an outsider

Playing for England, I think Lampard may have been one of the Golden Generation too.

Hughes is in the 'just another ex-united player who is a shit manager' category.

    Terry, Rio, Cashley.

I guess Johnson was just too late.

  • johnson can hopefully fit into the next " golden generation " that also won't win anything

  • Hughes is in the 'just another ex-united player who is a shit manager' category.

    qft

  • Playing for England, I think Lampard may have been one of the Golden Generation too.

Cashley deffo is, Lamps is, JT is, I thought Becks was, and the Nevilles, and Butt, and anyone who pulled on an England shirt between 1998 and now.

  • Lampard's more of a golden retriever.

  • Is Gerrard the last of the 'Golden Generation' of serial underachievers ?

rooney, ferdinand, terry and cole were in that as well wern't they?

  • Hughes is in the 'just another ex-united player who is a shit manager' category.

    True that!

    List time

    Robson
    Balloon Head Bruce
    Hughes
    Ince
    Keane

  • watch out lads an outsider

  • yup we don't like polite, well punctuated, educated people in this thread

please keep it repetitive, sweary, and full of bile and hatred especially against man utd and chelsea

Tbh I have not gone at all this season, I was used to rucking up to matches and paying on the door however with Ranger's rise that sort of off the cusp attendance is a thing of the past. I went to a few games last season but the last time I was in regular attendance was the 2008-09 season (last time I had a season ticket), after that my attendence was intermittent.

As for why QPR well I grew up on a council estate in Hammersmith and Rangers was the local team, so it was a natural thing to support them (otherwise you were liable to get a kicking).

But QPR is not the only team I have a soft spot for, my old man was a German so I also follow his families team which is TSV 1860 München (the rivals of the more famous Bayern München) but I am afraid to say that they suck :o

When it comes to Chelsea, Fulham, Watford and even lowly Brentford I will be more than happy to reciprocate :)

heh see my last reply mate, i was born in Hammersmith hospital on the Du Cane road and I grew up down the way from the Shepard's Bush Road.

  • QPHahaha...

I bet you still long for plastic pitches and the time when Les Ferdinand was good...

  • According to TEH RULEZ he would appear to qualify.
