i'm getting all excited about the rest of the season now. gonna be a cracking relegation dogfight again. plus Newcastle could really stick it up chelsea and arsenal. The race for the title between the manchester clubs (and Spurs) and to top it off Albion climb up to 9th and tell Woy to do one 'thank you very much' before appointing Chris Hughton.

Sorry to disappoint but IF he went anywhere it certainly wouldn't be sideways to West Brom.

A few years ago we were 3-0 up at home in a quarter final of the CL. We conceded a goal in the last minute or so. The pundits wrote us off saying that the concession of an away goal was fatal. They were, sadly correct. We went out in the second.

We are now 3-1 down with the second leg to come. The pundits have written us off again. Same scoreline but the position is reversed.

We are in a better position than if we were 2-0 down. We will be playing at home.

It will not be easy but it is certainly better than being 4-0 down.

I am off to North Britain in a moment. Not sure if WiFi is allowed by the SNP and so may not be around much over the next few days. I am not hiding.

Clive. All is not lost but it'll be one hell of a task to reverse this scoreline. As much as I agree that chelsea are now a team in transition and younger players deserve a chance I can't but agree that AVB has had his tactics wrong on more than one occasion. Some of the new signings haven't lived up to the hype (Meireles) and some of the old guard have let the team down and Luiz is starting to become a parody for clueless defenders.

AVB should take a long hard look in the mirror and make the most of what he's got to his disposal rather than dropping good players left right and centre and it all lacks a bit of class and style if you ask me. Perhaps I was expecting too much from this team and management but there seems very little or no cohesion and for a manager to come in and ruin one of the best defences in 9 months takes some effort.

Let's hope he can turn things around but at rue moment it's starting to look like he's out of depth and behaving like a clueless toddler throwing his toys out of the pram.

Communication and communication between players is something is something that is formed on the training pitch and if he can't get the basics right I don't think he'll have much time left.
