Better hold fire on allocating the funds for a trophy cabinet cleaner, Arsene.
-
• #52156
They could always just clean the cabinet. Must need a good polish by now

Like any other unused piece of furniture it probably has an out of date takeaway menu, one glove and general detritus all over it.
And mugs - plenty of mugs.

watched the first half of the arsenal sunderland game, arsenal, pretty football, but generally ineffective. Arteta seemed to defer to Ramsay, or maybe Ramsay was the more demanding player, but, most of their attacks seemed to falter as they tried to get behind sunderland who were disciplined and sharper to the ball. Weird that Ryo Miachi scored for Bolton, who he's on loan for from Arsenal. Looking at the bench, didn't seem to be any game changers on there, would have thought Wenger after buying in Benayoun, a player I like, he would have given him a decent run in the side, as the other attacking players seem to be falling over themselves to show how lightweight they can be. He's a cunning player who could spring RvP.
Don't see this going well for Arsene, the press are out with the Arsenal in disarray articles, and it's only going to get worse to the end of the season. Spurs game is a chance for them to stop the rot, and so it will probably have me biting my nails next sunday.
Think we should turn over stevenage today, depending on how strong the team sent out is, with 'Arry keeping an eye on the derby next weekend. Guardian has us sending out a full strength team, and I'm dubious about that.

Is Parker fit?

• #52160
guardian says he's in the team. midfield is looking a bit thin, what with Sandro and Huddlestone looking like they are gone for the rest of the season. Tom Terrific's gone under the knife again, on his ankle, worry he might not get back to be the force he was when he formed a pivotal partnership with Modric.
Hoping we get to see some of giovani, he'll be gone come season's end and it'd be a shame to never see him put on show.
And would the press please stop going on about us getting Eden Hazard from Lille, he's not coming, he's too pricey, we won't be able to afford his wages, bigger clubs are in for him. For the children's sake stop going on about it, because he mentioned us in some report somewhere...

Bellamy x 2, Suarez, Gerrardx2
just out of interest...what is the total goals scored this season in the league of these three? Actually you can make that all competitions i'm sure it is still going to be a bit embarrassing

Robust FA cup game here. Stevenage are up and at'em. Spurs have stepped back into the 90's as we play 352. Midfield is missing the creativity of Modric, but Parker and Livermore are there to give it some heft. Bale looks like he gets to run around freely and walker and rose need to push on.
Can't string any sort of passes together, Stevenage are hustling and harrying. Need to take a breath, grow a pair and put our foot on the ball and pass it to each other..

How many did you win by in the end?

Oh my, just seen, the mighty Spurs were held by the mightier Stevenage. Fancy that. Wheels coming off as the days get longer.
