Mike,it's the taking part that counts (money wise anyway), something Liverpool FC haven't done of late.

With such prospects, Liverpool could only wish to play in any form of European competition. At least you've got a good chance of winning a trophy this year with the League Cup final being contested against a Championship team, this will also automatically grant you the right to play 6 games in the Europa League (that's what it's been called for a few years now). Can't wait for the newspaper reports of another famous European night at Anfield against illustrious opposition such as BATE Borisov...
