You are very close to being put on ignore with this kind of statement
Really? Allardyce for England! Allardyce for England!
-
• #51128
I'd rather Allardyce than Redknapp to be honest. At least he'd think about tactics.
But the suggestion of Ian Holloway is genius, he gets my vote*.
*it is an open election, isn't it?
-
• #51129
Yeah I like the idea of Holloway
Why don't we get an experienced foreigner in just for these Euros and then sort it out after.
Someone who knows the players, the league and international football and is currently out of work.
Benitez fits the bill. How about Hiddink, is he currently employed? -
• #51130
Hiddink is available.
He also speaks better English than 'Arry.
-
• #51131
Unless we have to go English, Hiddink is the only sensible choice
-
• #51132
Mourinho.
Hiddink.
Klopp.
Lambert. Why choose an English manager, when really they are all shit, not experienced enough.
-
• #51133
Because it's England, and we've had a foreign and look at the fucking good that did.

With a foreign manager in charge, we've qualified for every major tournament we've entered. This is not true for English managers.

they clearly haven't let facts and stats get in the way of a good xenophobic witch hunt.
Why is Woy such an outside bet, he was an amazing manager when they were appalled he got binned from LFC?

I don't understand how changes at the top, well the person who picks the team and wears the suit and takes the shit for that shower of shite and their shitty performances, are going to positively affect the development of players within the EPL.
Surely,it would be better to have a plan to make players capable of playing well.Employing a manager who doesn't "rate tactics" is a fucking farce.
Oh. And hello.
-
• #51139
Hello. Strong start.
-
• #51140
Allardyce? Are you mental? His tactics are little more than hoof and run, and his teams defend by kicking any player that gets over the half way line up in the air. All a bit similar to the last small time overachieving manager that England appointed, Graham Taylor, and we all remember what a roaring success he was.
-
• #51141
Graham Taylor was a tactical revolutionary. Comparing that fat fuck from, wherever the fuck he's from, to GT is lazy.
-
• #51142
Is it for sure that they'll get a permanent manager in before the Euros?
Seems a better plan to get Hiddink in on a contract until then, then mop up some talent afterwards, where there's bound to be more available people with international experienceGive it to Harry then if you must, at least Tottenham won't be asking for as much as they will now once the Euros are out of the way.
-
• #51143
Give it to 'arry, for England and St. George.
And then hopefully we can all stop fucking about and get back to watching Forest.
-
• #51145
Nicknamed 'Nostradamus' for his uncanny ability to predict how opponents will play, and even sometimes exactly when goals will be scored, England fans have credited him with supernatural powers - a claim he dismisses as 'bonkers'.
:)

Tony Pulis. He gets my vote.

Seriously, you need someone on the FA to accept that the EPL teams do well in spite of the English players. NOT because of.
Therefore, they need to get a manager who will organise them into something capable. Hello Tony, Hello Otto whasshisface that managed Greece. The FA either focus on England or focus on the EPL. They cannot have both at the moment. It's impossible, clubs do not care for the development of national teams. Accept that and move on, or make worthwhile changes.
There are several managers which could do an OK job.
Just as soon as the FA stop picking the team.
