Shame United are there to catch them. If they win it, it will surely be the worst ever team to win the league

It will be an amazing achievement if UTD win the league this season, the amount of players that have been out injured throughout the season has been unbelievable.

Thanks to the Spuds for lending us Tom Carroll. He is the best footballer called Carroll currently playing, with a better goal per game ratio for his current team than any other Carroll at the moment.
He also knows how to pass the ball and get into good positions on the pitch. Cheers.

How did everyone else's teams do tonight? We should use the Carroll rating: Andy=shit, Roy=mediocre, Tom=excellent.
Unfortunately, we lost our first league match this calendar year, but played well in the second half.
First half was Andy. Second half was Tom. So overall, we were Roy.

Michael Carroll would be a better description of our performance.
-
• #50508
Fuck me - lose 5-1 and still remain top of the league.
Probably a combination of a devastatingly great performance from them and a cack one from us.

Blimey, Spurs have signed Ryan Nelsen 34, from Blackburn. Typical Harry 'no sell on value' signing.

Boring fucking deadline day.
Everton now have a decent looking lineup.
Harry has clearly gone mad.
Man City have got an expensive, slow and fat old man.
Will Assou Ekotto get a stupid retro-spective ban? Will Malouda?
We signed Dortmunds 5th best young attacking midfielder, who has just come back from acl trouble. But looked to have tied a deal up for Hazard in the summer >>>Chamakh & Djorou +£££... :) -

Haven't Chelsea just bought a striker from a team at the bottom of the Championship who couldn't even score in John Terry's favourite brothel?
-
• #50520
And we've signed a bloke who beats his mother.
-
• #50521
Haven't you lot got 12 strikers now? Big Sam does know he can't play them all in one match doesn't he?
-
• #50522
Based on tonight's result I don't really think Big Sam knows what he's doing.

Bale looked on top form against Wigan. 2 classy finishes, and Kaboom, was denied twice, as he grows into the role of our goto defender in chief.
Five points off the leaders with Liverpool A, Newcastle H, Arsenal A, Man U H, to come.
Sharp point of the season, not liking Liverpool's revival after getting Kenny's boot to their rear, though it looked like Wolves rolled over and ler them score at will. Newcastle don't seem as durable or dangerous without Ba, Arsenal are still dangerous, and Utd, are doing their perennial, course and distance job, and sticking close enough to snatch it at the end.Pav's gone, and we've got Saha in, whose class when not injured, though he's always injured so not sure what the point was in that, except he's closer to the adebayor range of holding up play, bringing in players and then finishing than pav was.
Bassong and Pienaar out on loan, looks to clear some wages off the book, with a view to selling on in the summer, and Nelsen's on a free, and gives us another body for cheap beer in defense to cover for gallas, who looks to be a long term injury victim..
-
• #50524
To be fair, Gallas is just a victim.

Just spoke with your chairman's son about the strange Spurs transfers. Seems the other signing you made was with a Chinese distro for replacement knees...
50% of that is true.
Krasic bid failed last minute, but Pienaar pretty much pushed the deal through.
Liverpool for fourth?
