I always imagined that Moyes would eventually go to United

United are a club on the decline. Fergie knows that and will leave at the end of the season, probably after winning the FA cup, to go out on a relative high rather than just fade away. Mourinho will take over but the lack of funds available to him means he will walk away after one season. At which point O'neill will take over and ensure Untied mid-table mediocracy for the years ahead.
**KKK will never be sacked by the board as the fans adore him so much and would still be loyal to him even if he got us relegated. **He will be with us for next season, but will leave after another troyphless year only to be replace by the man who has just left United. Causing such a storm that a tidal wave hits the English channel causing the Thames to flood London and Chelsea, Fulham and QPR to be submerged under 300 ft of water. Arsenal, Barnet and Tottenham being the only remaining clubs in London.
Bollocks, he'll be gone by summer if you don't win anything (which you won't).
Fickle creatures football fans, Scousers more so than others.
And please no more talk of O'neil to Utd. DO NOT WANT.

Why would the French care so much about who Mourinho manages as to orchestrate a tidal wave to annihilate London?

I think you missed the point about how much a major event a United manager moving to Liverpool would cause

I wouldn't sell Carroll, unless they offered us seriously more than he's worth, so £25M+
There is no point spending big bucks on young players if you then don't give them a few years to prove their worth.
As Kenny said, we've signed him for 5 years, not 6 months.
If he gets to the age of 25 and hasn't improved, then sure, sell him for whatever we can get, but I would be dissapointed if we sold him now, unless a silly money offer comes in (which you should always accept, regardless of the player).

It's all down to when you want to write off the loss.
You'll be able to sell him for £5m in a year or so to some Championship side where he'll score a few if he gets fit enough.
No-one will ever offer £25m+. FACT.

He'd be more use.

Kenneth Noye would be more effective still. At least the players would be shit-scared of not putting some effort in. And he'd do everyone a favour by shanking Kenwright when he failed to come up the money.

The City hatchet men are at it again. This 1970s Leeds style of playing may well cost them their season

FFS Spearing's gone for a month at a guess. There went our protection...Something Everton could do with according to some.
-
• #49422
Protection is on a very long list of things everton could do with.

Citeh are doing a decent impression of Arsenals season last year, falling out every competition within a couple of weeks.

Yeah its a shame but we do have options in midfield. Shelvey is not injured is he?
