I guess it goes to show that the clubs bloody stupid actions in recent weeks seems to legitimise racism on the eyes of some.
Agreed.
A sad sight, given the strong anti-racist/anti-fascist history in the city.

Sounds like Rooney is to be sold in the next week or so. I wonder if he will go and team up with his mate at Real Madrid or more likel sign for City
Blue Roon?

Liverpool is a club with a great and proud history...

(Before I get accused of trolling, I don't have anything against Liverpool, just racists)
There is a teensy bit of overlap on that particular Venn diagram.

Liverpool FC, best fans in the world hey?
Fuck me....

Pisti, what are you hoping for? Your club gets sold to oilygarks? Turkey magnates? Look at what's happened at Blackburn. I couldn't really care less for Blackburn & their fans, but it's a pretty unappealing spectacle, only matched by what's going on at PSG.
Intrigued by the Henry loan. I think he will play up top. The current Arsenal style is for the CF to play with back to goal, receive, turn & look to play the ball to either of the two wide players. Ie, not on the the shoulder of the last defender.
I can't see where else he is going to play. The centre 3 mids run a lot, a hell of a lot, and rotate, so I can't imagine him playing there. But you never know, maybe he can tackle & track back.

That's Newcastle, you're losing your FACT edge

That fire needs no added fuel.

FA cup third round today. Normally lots of score draws in these games for the betting men amongst us.

Just seen the Adeyemi stuff. Pretty shocked as he played football with my younger brother at NCFC academy. There seems to be some pretty clear images of who are accused, he comes from Norfolk which is a far less multi-ethnic area than merseyside but seemed pretty distraught by whatever was said to him.
The fact that it's Liverpool is of no concern to me, racism and racist behaviour is just fucking despicable.

to upset a man like that you don't even know because he plays for the opposing team and is black is sickening to the stomach.
If that were the Arsenal i'd be deeply ashamed.I have seen men front off when racist comments have been made at The Arsenal and i hope there is no way these twats got out of the ground with out someone having a word!

From what it sounds like, the witness statement the papers have quoted is from someone else in the stand, which is heartening. More so than the boos he got when he next got the ball anyhow.
It was the same with the guy in the executive box and Chelsea who apparently made racist comments about Sturridge a couple of months back, it was someone else in the crowd who reported him.
I think a significant amount of progress has been made in the last 25 or so years, even since I was younger when I remember being in a large section of the crowd at a Northwich Vics game who were chanting racist abuse at a former player.
It's generally understood now that this is completely unacceptable, but there are always going to be a few backwards idiots at every club who think this is just political correctness gone mad or whatever. It's just a shame Liverpool's behaviour around the Suarez thing has played the ball so nicely in their court.

Apparently(according to some kopite forums) it was an Everton/Utd/The Sun plant who was the offender!?
Fuck me, was it also 10,000 Everton/Utd/The Sun fellas in The Kop booing every time Adeyemi touched the ball, or the same Everton/Utd/The Sun fellas singing 'Theres only one Suarez'?!
Brassneck, arrogant cunts!
Come on Tamworth, try and get that first nail in Kenwrights coffin!

there is a txt number you can use at the Arsenal, you just text the seat number and they get evicted. everytime they get evicted the crown cheer making them look the sad men they are. that said i haven't seen anyone evicted for racisim, just throwing items onto the pitch.
racism is largely out of the game, you are on the money, it's now unacceptable. and how the media are loving this ball in the Liverpool court. it's prime fodder for them

On a separate but similarly sad note, this is the first FA Cup 3rd round weekend in about 6 years that I've not been at a match. Ipswich are away at Hull, and my ever-dwindling passion for the current state of affairs means it really doesn't seem worth the effort and money.
Hopefully going to see Chester FC at Ebbsfleet in the FA Trophy next weekend though, happy to get behind a team that's actually being run the right way and for the right reasons.

Bologna, then off to Florence on Monday
Wilder speculation that it was a paid for plant. Im sure that is nonsense.
I guess it goes to show that the clubs bloody stupid actions in recent weeks seems to legitimise racism on the eyes of some. How we will get out of this mess god only knows.
