^ let's face it, they've only played some pretty poor teams so far ;) good luck to them though. I reckon Coyle likes to play decent football. relegation battle could be epic this year with so many teams in the running....hull, stoke, bolton, pompey, blues, wolves....et al

We've got some serious problems, problems that have been glossed over for the past few seasons with Moyes working wonders with the team(and without a pot to piss in). Kenwright needs to pull his thumb out or sell up cos I can see Moyes walking. This is DEFO Moyes' last season if things stay as they are

Spurs top of the leaue after three games, may have to eat my words about 'Arry not being the manager to take us to the promised land of being a top four contender. Still early days though but it's nice to have made a good start and not be stuck in the bottom half with the tag of too good to go down hanging like the sword of Damocles over us.
But it's early days yet and a bit too soon to be crowing, we're an injury to Palacios away from all the good work being undone!
Looking forward to seeing us against some of the other big clubs, and figuring out how good we really are when we're tested. -

Would be glad to see if you would withdraw your crass *lets move on and forget the cunt* comment, regarding Davenport. Truth be told, I didn't even know who the kid was, but sometimes piss-taking can really be inappropriate. Most people would be surprised that even you might agree. Kudos to you if you show the better side. Seriously.
Yes, yes, I will copulate off now. ;)
I don't want to ruin your (internet hardman) reputation.

twenty four million for lescott will serve you well it's just a shame moyes has handled it this way because you probably won't have a chance to spend the money.

I think Moyes has done "a Sam Allardyce". He's started to believe his own press, and has notions that the success of the team is entirely down to his brilliance, and not the players. Big Sam thought that at Bolton, from where he spanked Arsenal many a time (me = Arsenal sofa fan). Sam took his legend to Newcastle, where he learnt that the Bolton way, wasn't transferrable. I think Moyes may begin falling into the same trap, that big-egoed managers of some clubs fall into. Alan Curbishley is another excellent manager, that managed a team to greater than expected results (Charlton), but came unstuck when he wanted a "bigger challenge".
Of course, I could be completely missing the mark.

Spurs top of the leaue.......
Let's see how long this lasts. Evidence, in case anybody from the future ever believed it was all just a fiction.

We won't see the money, it'll go to pay off some of fuckwit Kenwright's 12 mortgages and payback Philip Greene. The rest'll go to the Destination Kirkby fund. The club(Kenwright) is a complete shambles
The deal for Lescott was done in Feb, it's just been dragged out in the media to make it look like we were doing our best to keep him, then when the deal goes through right at the end Kenwright can say "We didn't have time to buy anyone else as replacement" knowing all too well he'll be offloading the money for his own benefit
Cunt! :-( -

..."Feeding the ducks, yeah? Fackin looks like it anoll"
Liverpool's situation is not too dissimilar. We were told the Rafa had £20M without having to sell anyone. We then sold Alonso, Arbeloa and Leto for at least £36M. We replace Alonso & Arbeloa for Aquilani who was £20M and Glen Johnson £17M (minus £10M which Pompey owed for the sale of Crouch) respectively. Granted money was also put aside to renegotiate many a contract but where is the rest of the ca$h??? Given our finish last season you'd have thought the owners would go out and improve our squad. We have not done this.
I guess the actions of Citeh and fake Madrid have skewed the true value of players, which may be why managers that have seen massive sales from their clubs are sat on it, or maybe the cunts in suits upstairs have siphoned it off.
Either way I do get tired of lazy, unread journalists spouting nonsense about Benitez spending/wasting shit loads of money which simply aint true. Like Pisti, I really fear one of these days he will walk. (Believe me, all the opposing fans that say they want him to stay really have no clue. Just look at the squad he inherited and our continued improvement year on year mainly basement shopping. Thank fuck he has taken charge of dealings. If Rick Parry were in charge, Alonso would have gone for £6.76 and a pack of Richmond fags.)
If this is of interest to you, give this a little read: media myths

plus:
miles addison scored.
that's good and bad. good because it was the winner. bad because i reckon he's the next one out at the end of the season. a la huddlestone and barnes (though he's not quite gone yet). -

This is the strongest Footballing side Spurs have had in a while. Harry has the calibre and experience and there are a good selection of players gunning for their England place in the up and coming WC. Can't say it's good to see but I think they will push Everton for 5th/6th. them and Villa look a way off of being stable.
Arsenal are playing good football but we need a test.. a real test - what impressed me the most was the quality of last years fringe players. Ramsey, Gibbs, Merida, Wiltshire.. All great footballers. Ramsey in particular is one hell of a ball player.. what vision!

....we won't be finishing 5/6th again, be lucky to get top 8
Yeah, sad news, I hope he's ok. He was meant to be signing for Forest next week, we could have done with a player like him!
