  • Robbie Fowler was the greatest natural goal scorer of all time.

    Gerd Müller wins hands down.

Fowler isn't even the best English goalscorer of his generation, as both Shearer and Cole scored more goals than him.

  • You can never watch Garcia score against Chelsea too many times.

Remember that goal against Chelsea in the semi-final of the Cl when we won it for a fifth time? I swear that never crossed the line you know

    I said natural scorer.
Cole - I need seven shots to score one - was in a United team so dominant even I would probably have netted a few if I was in that team
Shearer - An all round wanker

  • What the fuck does 'natural scorer' mean? It's an utterly meaningless term.

I only deal in FACTS and Fowler's goals record is not as good as Shearer or Cole.

  • That Andy "needs 7 chances" is bollocks as well. As previously discussed, wherelse?

  • Naturally gifted without really trying too hard as in a natural talent.
Just like when people say Fowler was a waste of natural talent as he could have been so much more if he was playing for say United and he cut out the high life. Same applies to Gascgoine

  • Muller's record with Bayern Muncich (a top European club, not some 3rd rate outfit like Liverpool)

    1964–1979http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Bayern_Munich453 games398 goals

Muller's record with W Germany (A top international side, not some 3rd rate outfit like England)

As Andy says we only deal in FACTS so that Guardian article is wrong

  • I agree with JAW.... no comparisons. Barbie isn't fit to ever be in the same sentence as the great Bergkamp, unless it was a sentence listing Premier league players in alphabetical order, and then I would imagine they punctuate with a comma or bullet points. which wouldn't even make a setence!

I playlisted those clips Cliveo, same duration and content as the Chelsea Greatest moments DVD.. available at many wire bins in service stations

  • bergkamp goal is the best ever. couldn't you find better goals for Zola Clive? He was an amazing player and you do him a disservice by posting a kid's playground flick (almost as irritating as that mexican twat who used to lift the ball up with both feet clamped on it and the idiot commentators would rave on) and a bread and butter 3 yard goal after simply checking inside a defender who was asking for trouble.

69% of Shearer's goals were penalties following swallow-like dives into the area.

MikeC has just toked up his crackpipe...discuss

  • Give the boy a break, he only has a week to go before his life is taken over by a couple of junior Gooners.

  • Fuck tonight is crap
My new bike is falling apart already
    My car won't start
No food in the house, no wine and I have to stay in in case Bxs goes into labour
    Damn

  • Seven days....and all that will appear trivial.

  • What's your new bike? Does it have baby seats?

  • Some interesting results in the Euro qualifiers tonight. Ireland, Croatia and Czech Republic look like they are through. With a bit of luck Portugal will also get through so they can knock us out in the second round

  • What's your new bike? Does it have baby seats?

Got myself a CAAD10 the other month as I think riding fixed every day for 4 years was contributing to my back problem and I think I was right

  • http://www.barnet.gov.uk/ please define London BB

    Happy to.

Any fule kno that Londoniumium is bounded to the south by the River Thamesis, to the east by the River Lee (or Lea if you're a massive fucking pedant, in which case >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>), to the west by Edgware Road, (which as any other fule kno used to be a Roman Road known as Wattle & Daubing Street) and to the north by the North Circular Gyrating Road.

    FACT.

  • Bergkamp was one of the best players I ever saw in the flesh, but I am not sure that I would agree that he was the best player in the Premiership. I would rate Henry higher, because he actually won stuff with his national team, whereas Bergkamp did not. Zola was fantastic, but again, he didn't win anything at the international level.

I did once see Dennis score with a shot that deflected off a defender's arse & looped up over the keeper (remember the deflection off Parker for the German goal in Italia 90 sf? it was like that), and he actually did not celebrate the goal at all, just sort of jogged away looking embarassed.

He is definitely my favourite player ever, even if there are 2 Dutch players arguably more gifted (Cruijff & van Basten), and a handful of contemporaries with comparable talent.

  • Talking about skills, there's only one Falcao

Alright, there's two, but the other one isn't as good. Even though he scores for fun.

  • 0.53 - he stole that from the J man. only different being the silver fox did it in cut off jeans and daps.. FACT

  • 1:09-1:37 is just sensational. Points off for missing the sitter at the end though, even Torres would have bagged that.

  • the first goal in that is sooo simple but what a finish!
