  • Typical Liverpool Kopite, "how good are, we next season etc etc"

    I'm talking TEH FACTS

  • I'm talking SHITE

    Ftfy

  • Ftfy

So you think LFC are getting into europe???

I think you have the wrong forum sunshine.

  • So you think LFC are getting into europe???

I think you have the wrong forum sunshine.

    Next season. Etc....

  • Torres really is hopeless, isn't he?

  • Fabulous side foot over the bar though. Only the best can pull that off.

  • I think teams seem to have worked us out and scoring at home is proving difficult. Same old story missed opportunity and the keeper stepping up

  • There's not much point in having all these talented youngsters if they can't stay on the pitch for 90 mins

And my money is always where my mouth is

Go on then. I'll lay a ten sheet down on this one says we will be above Liverpool at the end of the season.

    Your on!

    ...just leaving this one here.

  • @ Bill - don't start thinking Arteta is great just because he scored against west brom today. It's a sign that Arsenal are not the team they used to be that they only scored three against the shittest team in the league at the moment.

@ Marco - please swap Jol for Hodgson

Sad times for the baggies. they had nothing and never looked like they wanted to get anything. It's tough on a team playing with nothing up front, and you missed two top players, when you put a foot on the ball the passing and movement was nice, but you so clearly lacked any real clever movement up front and the final ball just went into space..

the big disappointment was the lack of fight, The Arsenal were given too much time. thats not good enough at this level really.

Arsenal only scored three but controlled the game, defended well in numbers and Super Tom/Lauren is by far away the best CB pairing. they are great. Jenkinson was great for us, can you believe he only played 16 professional games (these include playing for Welling City!) before he stepped out at Old Trafford. now look at him! What a great player, clever on the ball, good passer, good going forward.. love him

Arteta is alright, sits far deeper for us - between Song and Ramsey - than he did for Everton so taking time to adjust but he tidys up well. When Jack gets back i can't see him in the starting team, apart from when Ramsey needs a break or the lion that is Song gets suspended.. which is inevitable.

    Liverpool... ha ha haha

  • I think teams seem to have worked us out and scoring at home is proving difficult. Same old story missed opportunity and the keeper stepping up

Supporting Livershite is worse than being in some sort of recurring nightmare. The same old fucking shite week in week out. Drawing at home to relegation fodder, I can't take it much more. It must be time to flounce. Hopefully within 2 weeks I won't have time for this most pointless part of my existence.

  • Mike, in two weeks time you'll need an easy way to escape the pressures of your responsibilities. Football is better than whisky.

  • I am going to take up smoking crack

  • Take up?

Mike, I thought that it was years of smoking crack that drew you to Liverpool in the first place.

  • Swansea are a really good team, and they retain possession really well.

A fantastic result for them to get a draw at Anfield, but from what I've read so far it was Vorn who kept them in it.

  • Well another routine win for the mighty spurs. Apart from the sustained second half pressure and the two goal line scrambles, with Modric clearing one off the line. We looked comfortable, went two up without strain.
Lennon's goal when he was shown the outside in the understanding that he wouldnt take it since he had no left foot, then stepped over onto his left and thrashed it into the bottom corner was a thing of beauty.
Vdv didn't make 90mins again, and as he tired he got sloppy. I think most of the team got sloppy, giving away possession and inviting pressure, as fulham came out up for the second half. Those are the times when we need to string passes together, take the crowd out of the game and smother it. Our players are good enough to do it, we just sometimes lack the courage to do it.
Kaboul still needs a couple more seasons of experience he's almost there, Parker didn't do as much harrying and closing down, whilst Adebayor had a quiet but effective game, he's essential in holding up the ball and bringing others into play.
Like I said a routine win, could get used to it..

  • ^ outclassed and had all the luck... doesn't last all season

  • A routine win?

Corney, you are being a troll.

Fulham deserved something for the way in which they played in the second half. I hold no candle for the phoney pharoe and his playthings but you cannot say that Spurs took a "routine" win.

  • Cliveo read the first paragraph. Fulham were all over us second half, we were lucky to get out with the win, defoe's third was against the run of second half play after some sustained pressure from fulham. But we went two up really easily, and then took the foot off the gas.
As I said routine spurs win...

  • Hmmmm, Everton 1 place and 1 point above the relegation zone.

  • When you put it like that, and to re-inforce Corny's (TL;DR) post.

Spurs have in the past 3 games, played a dominant first half only to concede in the second half against Blackburn, QPR and Fulham - Spurs last 3 games - so yeah, pretty routine.

Fulham, a much better side than QPR and Bolton, were able to maintain a foothold after Spurs did their second half dip.

Freidel saved Spurs some blushes. The skill from Ade and Defoe at the end was special, but i certainly didn't feel like cheering that one. It was a bit embarrassing.

  • Corney, I read the first sentence and then thought "Oh no, Corney is trolling again." The rest was simply too long.

    ;o)

Routine wins are when you dominate the game. Spurs did not. Should have had a penalty awarded against them for clear handball in the stoppage time goal mouth scramble. The result would have been very different.

  • 'arry is such a useless manager blah blah blah blah blah.

    signed Corny

  • Hmmmm, Everton 1 place and 1 point above the relegation zone.

over a quarter of the season gone and I'm winning my 50 quid bet and Albion are the worst team at the moment.

  • Fulham are the first side since 2006/07 to have 13 shots (or over) on target in a PL match and still lose.

Fulham had 23 shots on target today.
