As long as we send you cunts further down the table I'm not arsed how many points we get

If we get 8 I think we'll do alright this season but I'd be happy with 6 points. I fancy our chances in the derby now that we have a genuinely quick forward in Drenthe and hopefully take all 3 points at Fulham. I'm not so sure we'll take points in the other games. Fingers crossed though.

What and leave the £35m striking sensation on the bench?
That's no reason for playing him. Play the best team currently available. The money is spent, playing him or not isn't going to change that.

Man Utd leave £31mn Berbatov on the bench just because he's third choice, as carrol should be at the liver-reds
-
• #40962
Yeah, but Berbatov was top scorer in the league last season. Carrol wasn't.

Fulham's piss-take Poznan.. I'm in the top right somewhere.
Awaits "facts" about away Fulham attendances at Everton.

we was played as a winger most of yesterday, he's not a very good winger... we keep pumping long balls up to him... his strength is attacking crosses and the like not sitting in spurs defenders pockets, well actually he was pretty good at that

a scrupulous afternoon of football in the effra hall. good to see you down there clintsmoker, corny, skoota and TS.
joe, sorry for that small bit of harping. lost my scruples for just a second there.
nice goal by drenthe, though i think modric and nani shared joint first for goal of the weekend.

All this doom mongering prem talk is boring.
I think everyone has overlooked the result of the weekend... Florist 1 v 2 Derby (with 10 men for 88 minutes)!
Fuck all these shit multi-millionaire players who can't even hit an empty onion bag.

I am still laughing at Torres miss, the pub i was in just went mental. one of the funniest moments i have seen in a long time, even my 7 month old daughter started screaming and laughing.. what a tool!

oooh west brom...
Maybe you should join some gooner fans in watching the rugby today Clint...
damn! if only our next game was against Arsenal (i bet all the other teams are thinking that too)

Did Derby beat their local rivals this weekend?
Did we only have 10 men for 88 minutes?
Seriously though, wtf? I thought the sending off was harsh, it was clearly NOT a foul. But. I think the ref had a shocker from watching the game on the tellybox later that night. He seemed a bit wishy washy.
Still. What a way to come back from making a miss of the season. A bit like Torres. But in reverse.
