Capello confirm what ClintSmoker and many England fans have thought for years. The players have no bottle
interestingly enough I watched the documentary following Graham Taylor and England back in the early 90's 'do i not like that'. Obviously he came across a bit lost but actually it was obvious to see that the players were walking onto the pitch and playing badly due to a total lack of bottle. Bossed by Norway and Poland and eventually San Marino. It seems to me that 1 year after the world cup debacle the Capello is carrying all the blame and the players have somehow wriggled free when actually most of the blame lies with their total inability to perform when it really matters.
The farce just keeps playing itself out. We manage to beat Bulgaria away from home and it barely crosses anyone's mind that England basically beat the international equivalent of a mid table championship side. A few days later, true to form, England playing at home, scrape a 1-0 against the international equivalent of........a league one side.
At any given level of football the majority of teams in a league will be roughly the same so the difference will come down to who has the mental capacity to succeed. For this reason I feel sorry for Capello a little bit because he looks bemused that players of such high quality can't step up to the plate on the biggest stage yet the walk around strutting like major stars. At least the team of the early to mid 90's had more bottle but less talent. -

Why build a 60,000 seater stadium if you can only fill it 4 times a year, the other 20 odd games it'd be detrimental to the atmosphere. Wembley is a prime example and in due course the Olympic stadium I guess. I reckon it's more of a sign that Italian football is on the up and juventus are leading the way. Time will tell I guess.

Very decent gesture as well given the cockhead attitude adopted by most big clubs.

I have a copy of Moneyball that Corney passed to me, which I think is Day-Moe's.
If it is, do you want it back, or are you interested in borrowing any or all of:
Anatomy of England, Jonathan Wilson
The Football Men, Simon Kuper???
and if there's someone that hasn't read Inverting the Pyramid, I have a copy of that too.

I think it's more a reflection of the lack of support in Turin for Juve. Juve are the all-Italian team, ie their support is right across Italy, whereas the Turin folk seem to be more into Torino. Delli Alpi always looked, at most, half-full when I used to watch Football Italia, even for big games (eg Milan, Roma). Admittedly, Delli Alpi looked a terrible place to watch football.

Come on O's! Colchester are yours! You can't go all season without a win. Right?

A bit like the city of Liverpool. Most the residents are Evertonians whereas Liverpool are followed by belters from all over the gaff, as this board can testify too

Man City chief exec has quit after ravaging
So even though this bell-end is supposedly innocent he still had to resign.
But...
The claims led City's board to launch an investigation and, following its findings, Cook offered his resignation and Khaldoon wrote to Dr Onuoha "to apologise for any distress caused".So is this wanker guilty or not? Take some responsibility toss face

Cook's Wiki page got hilariously hacked into when he first signed up to City.
Cant be bothered to post it here,
But read it here http://www.unitedrant.co.uk/just-for-fun/city-chief-gary-cook-wiki-hacked/ if you want.

I might take you up on one of those if you don't mind. I've got Football Against the Enemy to offer in exchange.
Based on that theory Blackpool would have been been in the Champions League
