He is gay in the same way Ashley Cole is. Not that it matters of course. Before someone starts the old homophobia nonsense

Michael Owen reportedly walked into a bar in Canal Street Manchester and went up to a blonde at the bar and asked for the blonde's telephone number.
The blonde looked down at him and said: "You're a little forward"

it depends on what they're actually going to show though. i don't really understand how the NFL rights work and how much they show but that could be absolutely great if they have a decent amount of games.
remember that setanta weren't breaking even so it is always going to expensive because the football rights are megabucks. would be easier if the PFA or FA or whoever just let sky buy the whole fucking lot -
• #3557
^ wank, why bother. Sky have the monopoly so just let them get on with it. Look at the dogs dinner Setanta made, having inept knobends with as much charisma and football knowledge as a turd presenting it....Can only imagine ESPN havng a million adverts like they do in the US and Americanising everything....
-
• #3558
pretty sure we have different advertising laws or regulations. i've watched some football on ESPN in america coverage seemed fine no worse than itv. still don't really see how not letting sky have the whole lot benefits anyone, but oh well.

no worse than itv..
Exactly. ITV are fuckin useless though....

The rumours are hoting up that Franck Ribbery is set to join the mighty reds.
If we got someone of his quality and keep all our main players especially Alonso and Mash I reckon we will have a decent squad next season. -
• #3563
really
that'll mean we beat chelski to two prominent signings
they're screwed ha ha
but i did think he was real bound next summer, once they have sold the rest of their grandmothers to raise the funds
-
• #3564
Ribery to Liverpool. Don't make me laugh. He can pick any team he likes so they could never afford his wages.
-
• #3565
The bookies have slashed the odds on him joining us to 5/4, in other words we are favourites and they rarely get it wildly wrong.
-
• #3566
All that means is there's been a rush of money on him, probably due to the rumour you've picked up, so they've shortened the odds to limit their losses should it happen.
-
• #3567
Yeah but if you want to win things and you value that over money when maybe a club like Liverpool is not so bad.
Better than joining Man City who lets face it are unlikely to win anything or those OAPs at Stamford Bridge. Arsenal are fucked so if you wanna play in England now there are only 2 options really -
• #3568
oh-ah ribery
hmmm where does he play again ? mid or wing ?
-
• #3569
wonder if liddypoul have been bluffing about funds and are about to go LARGE !
the benitez double bluff ! suckered them all -
• #3570
Liverpool are fine. This whole We are fucked thing is just the media doing their usual end of season anti-Liverpool stirring. That old American Git will sell his Hockey team or whatever and put all the money into the club.

But of course the media are totally correct when they say that just about every other team is in dire straights ;o))

Are you two serious? Liverpool's owners borrowed money against Liverpool's assets and are using Liverpool's income to service the debt, just like Manchester United's owners. Chelsea owe Abramovich over £500m in loans. None of these clubs are in a healthy financial state.
Before I'm accused of bias, Arsenal are also heavily in debt having borrowed money to build the new stadium and develop Highbury.
-
• #3573
I know. But the owners of Liverpool are selling their hockey teams and other assets to refinance the Liverpool deal. I think Liverpool will be fine once the deal is completed at the end of this month.
Arsenal are in an enviable position because you have a fantastic new stadium that will reap dividends in the years to come. You just need some decent players to put in there for next season though :D

• #3574
but it's ok. borrowing money. it didn't do leeds any harm. or southampton.

but we don't have the money that's been bandied about...
It'd be great don't get me wrong I just can't see it... I'd be shocked if he chose us over Man U for example... it'd be funny as fuck though.
Tevez is more likely imo
is he gay
i saw a piccy of him hand in hand with elton john backstage
