  • hehe.
I am unbelievable. It happens all the time when I play poker. I have terrible, terrible luck
    :)
I will take your advice for next season

you realise you have to put money on man u...do it

  • Didn't see the incident

    wenger?

  • you just have to wear them right...

  • ^Legend.

  • reported for posting offensive material

  • Reported for not enjoying the conspiracy that is Man U.

    #IcanseeyoulurkingMrO

  • Lurko

  • mulumbu has been pretty amazing this season. 7 goals from defensive midfield. He just loves to go on runs supporting Odemwingie and popping up everywhere. MOTD confirms Morrison was more than happy with billy's tackle and clearly trys to stop the ref waving red. Shit tackle though

  • Just put £20 on Spurs winning today

  • by the end of this bet psychology thing Mike you are either going to be a poor happy man or a sad rich one.

  • mike you should use the power of the reverse jinx, to secure success for liverpool next season. Lay the hex on your opponents, then sit back and wait for liverpool to reap the rewards..

just make sure you don't blame me if things go tits up though..

The thing with reverse hex, is if someone calls you on it, the reverse hex reverses.

  • Villa are 9.6 to beat Arsenal today. Has to be worth a bet seeing as The Arse are in freefall

  • Having a discussion yesterday about worst strikers ever, you know, the kind of player who have made a career out of being shit.

Usually they start off with a massive reputation (by virtue of playing for a big club) and then are repeatedly signed by clubs in the hope of firing them up the league, but in reality they haven't scored in about five years.

Top candidates of the top of my head:

Jeremie Aliadiere - aged 28, 14 career goals in 128 appearances
Vincent Pericard - aged 28, 23 career goals in 161 appearances
Freddie Sears - aged 21, 3 career goals in 74 appearances

Players like Marcus Bent (107 goals), Trevor Benjamin (106 goals), Jermaine Beckford (more goals than Carlton Cole) who you'd think would easily be a shoe in don't even get close to the level of ineptitude. 30 career goals seems to be a decent cutoff point.

  • I always thought Paolo Di Canio's career was a bit overrated. Apart from west ham he never played for anyone more than 58 matches. goals per game return below par in my opinion.

    Years Team Apps† (Gls)†
    1985–1990 Lazio 54 (4)
    1986–1987 → Ternana (loan) 27 (2)
    1990–1993 Juventus 58 (6)
    1993–1994 Napoli 28 (5)
    1994–1996 A.C. Milan 37 (6)
    1996–1997 Celtic 37 (15)
    1997–1999 Sheffield Wednesday 41 (23)
    1999–2003 West Ham United 118 (48)
    2003–2004 Charlton Athletic 31 (4)
    2004–2006 Lazio 50 (11)
    2006–2008 Cisco Roma 46 (14)
    Total 527 (138)

  • Ah but he's still scored goals, in one season at Celtic he eclipsed Aliadiere's entire career

Luke Moore on the other hand - aged 25, 30 goals in 178 appearances pffft (a whopping 5 in 57 for WBA)

  • Aliadiere's record doesn't surprise me - quite what Wenger saw in him was a mystery to most.

I'm glad that, statistically, he is as shit as I thought he was.

  • Goes to show how shit the SPL is. Rangers winning their 54th title

Walter Smith keeping the comfy chair warm for McCoist...

How can you miss Victor Anichebe off that list? Arguably our shittest ever striker after Stuart Barlow and Brett Angell

NO goals in 18months yet Moyes STILL plays the cunt!?!

  • Everyone else is injured though.

  • No excuse. A Premiership striker to not score in 18months is criminal

Can't explain how shit he is. He must've caught Moyes yentzing the tealady or something cos I can't for the life of me work out how he gets a game

Then the list would pretty much be all Everton players. Brett Angell is excluded for easily scoring more than 100 goals, as is Stuart Barlow.

Danny Cadamarteri is a better shout, 31 years old, 35 goals in 309 appearances. Woeful.

If you exclude the 13 goals he scored for Everton he's got 22 in 9 years, including a spell in Scottish footbaw...

  • Wait 'til Anichebe is in his twilight years then, bet he still won't have scored 20 goals

  • Neil Mellor's another....

  • Nah he's smashed the 50 goal mark, that's into Carlton Cole territory
