  • She doesn't look the sort to be honest. I think she bats for the other team anyway. Thats what Pisti said anyhow

  • Just because she turned Pisti down does not make her alternatively orientated.

  • Only a couple of games away from the FA Cup final too. Where we definitely won't play Arsenal again, since they're going to get slaughtered at OT in the next round.

  • I thought that Arsenal had to play Orient first and on current form against lower league opposition, they may well struggle.

  • Who else from a lower league has given them a problem, recently?

  • Ipswich.

  • So you turned down the chance to go and watch your supposed team to go and watch two teams you don't give two shites about??!

    weird???!?!?
puts head in car door - slams

Not weird. It was in that Bobby Moore place thingy...you know...the place with all the FIT girls that keep giving you more food and booze + plus a smile. I wanted to see what it was all about. I truly became one the things I hate: I rolled out for the first half 10 mins late still quaffing quiche washed down with wine. Grand as it was, I found it slightly depressing. Worst thing was I knew more about the teams playing than any of the partizan folk I was there with. Proper hoorays H

  • Who else from a lower league has given them a problem, recently?

    Ipswich.

    and Leeds

  • Wrong, like every other Liverpool fan you can't admit you were out played, out passed by a team that were better organized and had more hunger.

Scott Parker, Der Hammer and Mark Nobel bossed the midfield, Upson and Tomkins both played blinders and Demba Ba was always threatening and O'Neal worked his socks off.

I'm just gutted I didn't get to see the two ex kop pricks on MotD stuttering over WHU dominance.

From everything I heard you played better than Liverpool in EVERY dept on the pitch. Maybe it's your averaged performances + your league postion that makes it difficult for some to accept your dominance. If Scott Parker was foreign, you'd never hear the end of praise for that first goal IMO. TOP funking DRAW.

  • Three of the four goals scored by Chelsea rejects.

  • fest rolled past your place on the way back from the Ride East, was going to pop in, good thing I didn't as you were at the match I was riding home to watch...

don't knock doing the hospitality thing, at least now you know where you'd rather be when the match kicks off..

  • Birmingham support was great
it's the biggest day in their football life times, i doubt many there were alive when they last won anything.
Arsenal on the other hand never looked liked they believed they would win and the fans followed.
If Arsenal had won the focus would have been on the Barca game. with Birmingham this is it. season made and that red headed scottish twat has done a great job there. it's great it can be recognised with a trophy. fans deserve it.

I remember seeing birmingham sign Martins on loan in the transfer window and thinking "bet he fkng scores"

I called Martin scoring when he came on. That turn he did inside through 2 arsenal players was a delight.
True Birmingham haven't won a mojor trophy, I think, but given how little use your metal polish has had, it's an invalid argument. In truth I didn't feel the folk I was surrounded with would have given a shit either way. Mergers and aquisitions to worry about in the morning, innit. I kept saying to the kid next me, sing your heart out for the team which he barely did once but his old man seemed embarassed at the thought of displaying any passion. I'm not saying these are representative of everyone but..you know what I'm saying.

    Grab these, Clive.

  • Bovvered.

Happens every time we play with 2 or 3 B-team players. Rosicky, Bentner, Chamakh. We lack depth. BUT. Arsenal are still only 4 points behind Man Utd, got a run of 4 or 5 very winnable league games coming up, Chelsea to take points of Utd tomorrow, Wilshere's come on leaps and bounds since the start of the season, still in three competitions. If Arsenal finish a close second this year in the league i'll be very happy, its an improvement.

With a bit of luck Arsenal will have a mainly fit squad for Barca. This year it looks like them that have the key injuries. They are missing Puyol & Valdes and possibly Xavi. I'd take a double win over Barca over the Carling Cup up any day.

  • Zero of Zero goals scored by Liverpool reject:

11 passes and 22 touches lead to Scotty's goal, if one of the top of the table clubs had produced this the absent H+L of MotD would have been wanking each other off.

Festus can you let Clive know it isn't all so bad in the Europa Cup.

  • It was a very good goal indeed.
Yes, if it was scored by Arsenal they would indeed have their knobs out talking about talking about
    Pure/Total/'Ole/Matador/Beautiful/Genius* Football

    delete where fucking appropriate

  • i'll go for 'Genius' and 'Ole'.

  • Very sadly, if you follow Bradley Wiggins' twitter, you will notice that, despite being born in Ghent to an Australian father and being raised in London but more recently moving to Manchester, he is a plastic koppite. In his case, peobably a carbon koppite but a koppite none the less.

  • Ghent. What a beautiful city that is. Tempted to go back again this year for the 6 days

  • Why not go to Ghent - Welvegem instead Mike?

  • Not weird. It was in that Bobby Moore place thingy...you know...the place with all the FIT girls that keep giving you more food and booze + plus a smile. I wanted to see what it was all about. No excuse. If I had a ticket to watch Everton I would NEVER, EVER turn it down to go and watch Arsenal v Brum, no matter how much quiche was on offer!? And I do LOVE a good quiche

  • FA have said they will take no action against Rooney.

    Spineless cunts.

How can me saying we were fucking awful be wrong?... it was a fact, we were shite, you guys took full advantage and were good value for the win.

I'm still perplexed how the ball being booted off Bridges face was a throw into your lot though, right in front of the lino as well.

it's made things more interesting down at the bottom and with Arsenal gifting brum the trophy entry into europe is now harder.

I agree with Pisti on this... errgh I've just been a little sick in my mouth
