  • Tru dat.

  • I think it's where you live if anything. At the time when I first started going to football, I was living in Muswell Hill, and Highbury was easily the closest ground.

The rules are not open to interpretation by mortals, are you a god.

    Oh dear Bill.

I'm sorry, you could be seen to be, by definition of TEH RULEZ, a plastic.

    This.

  • It'll be fine once they relocate to Stratford, it'll be Brisbane Road, down two blocks and turn right

  • Pisti's gonna get you.

As far as you're concerned, yes.

  • Don't take shots at Bill. It's pointless; he's a moving target.

  • As The crow flies.

I think THFC is slightly further, perhaps by about 1/2 mile.

Interestingly, google maps thinks the road I grew up in *is *Tottenham, which shows you how wrong the interwebs can be.

Where did you put as your desination for Arsenal?

    Woolwich, Highbury, or Islington Library?

  • As far as you're concerned, yes.

    continues to shake head

Yep Muswell Hill is probably about 1/4 mile closer to Tottenham to Arsenal. I guess it depends exactly where in Muswell Hill though

  • But I am sure Muswell Hill is Harringey? according to teh map (posted earlier in this thread I think) that makes all Muswell Hill Spurs territory.

Yeah I noticed that anywhere around the Alexandar Park Road area is classified as Tottenham, which is a bit of an insult really as some of the houses there are bloody lovely

  • I bet Bill wishes he'd never mentioned he was born in Barnet now.

  • I wish I'd never even heard the word 'Barnet'.

When you say Harringay, do you mean Haringey the borough or Harringay the area within the borough centred on Green Lanes just north of Finsbury Park?

  • I wish I'd never even heard the word 'Barnet'.

    Talk about your own team.

    Wait. You did. It's Barnet.

To be fair, when I was a kid, the Wood Green end of White Hart Lane was actually really nice.

  • is Harringey in London Bill?

  • Buffalo Bill
    Tottenham Boy
    lalalalalalala

  • You can take the boy out of Tottenham but you cannot take Tottenham out of the boy.

  • Given where I was born however, that expression would sound a little off.

    Hampton....

My father was also in the Met Bill.

  • If anyone wants to report me for bullying, I'd accept that.

  • as was my mother

  • is Harringey in London Bill?

I have no idea where Harringey might be.

  • reported!
