My arrival? What are we talking about? That glorious day in 1966? March 2007 when I first logged on to lfgss? Or some other auspicious arrival?
'86 when you signed for Utd, you and gazza, what a pair.

The Post Office says that it is in Hertfordshire, and I agree. Who do you trust?

Across the road and it's N20.

http://www.barnet.gov.uk/Yeah, but Barnet is run by a one-eyed cyclops. I wouldn't trust him with a pencil.

Not the Royal Mail. Although the Postcodes for the offices all appear to be London ones. (N20 NW4 etc)

Who says I'm not biased? Anyway, pretty soon we'll be the only team in North London, what with the old codgers from up the Seven Sisters Road upping sticks in a huff.
erm. Barnet? Finchley & Wingate? Hendon?
-

By offices I mean the council ones. Never trust Postcodes on places eg Nottingham East Midlands Airport is in Leicstershire with a Derby postcode.

Hendon are in NW now. Somewhere around Sudbury.
My old CEO used to own Hendon Town. The place is like a bomb site now.

the N20 council office is about 500 yards from Underhill.

Wikipedia says they are London along with the nearest tube station.
DEFINITIVE FACT

Back on topic, Barnet are only 1 point away from safety in League 2 so could soon be non-league. Burton currently occupy the drop zone but have seven games in hand over Barnet.
So by the time Spurs move to Newham, Arsenal could be the only league team in North London.

Seven games? How the FUCK?

Barnet have masses of bouncebackability.

I don't want to come over all Londonist on you, but have any of you been to N20? Could you honestly describe it as metropolitan?
Look, I don't want to belabour the point but when you see Barnet on the front on buses, it usually appears just after 'Arse End of Nowhere' & just before 'The Sticks'.
-
• #28969
hereford uniteds recent run of form has dragged them out of that relegation fight
unfortunately their bouncebackability is usually down the table rather than upwards -
• #28970
Hereford? Is that near Barnet?
-
• #28971
for all the geographical knowledge being shown above
i could say it's anywhere
but no it's not near barnet -

Bill, were you born in London?

That's not Londonist, that's just retarded.
I grew up in Whetstone (N20) and although it may not be a kin the bustling, high culture streets of Highbury and Islington, it's still London.
Jeez, is Ealing not London either? Imagine trying to fit everyone in London into your zone 2 sweet spot. it would be like the Victorian era London all over again.
bytheway the Arse end of nowhere before the sticks would most likely be Borehamwood if you kept on going past Barnet.

Bill, were you born in London?
No, I was born in the Victoria Maternity Hospital BARNET. But my dad was in the Met, and my Grandad drove a 73 bus.
So is Cobham, but that's not in London either. Yokels start at the North Circular.
