  • down at espn, doing some promo's and was watching everton, and saw beckford score two of his 3 goals this season, and thought about the pisti, clintsmoker bet, so checked out how many goals carlton cole had scored and was amazed to see he's only got 3 as well. Beckford has 5 in total, Cole has 7 in total.

By the way tottenham top scorers, VDV 9, Bale 7, Crouch 2, Defoe 0
No wonder Levy was doing the rounds throwing cash at anyone in La Liga who had a half decent scoring record..

  • you might need this:

The keeper's going to be disappointed with that.

  • The Azzuri's very own Frankie Howard 'spittin' his lyrical flow.

  • ....I just don't trust anyone with eyebrows that move that independently.

  • Time for a new poll:

Who do you believe Wenger or Moyes?

  • Stoke v Sunderland 1-1
    A Villa v Fulham 2-1
    Everton v Blackpool 1-2
    MCFC v WBA 3-2
    Toon v Arsenal 1-4
    Spurs v Bolton 3-3
    Wigan v Blackburn 0-1
    Wolves v ManUre 1-4
    WHAM v Brum -1
    Chelsea v Liverpool 2-1

  • Time for a new poll:

Who do you believe Wenger or Moyes?

Moyes of course. Everyone trusts a Scotsman.

  • Are you kidding me Clive?
Catholic? Do I look like I want to stand around deathbeds watching people die, whilst self-flagellating myself hoping that some cunt on a cross is going to come back down in a space ship and rescue my pathetic soul?

That's actually a pretty good analogy for Anfield in the final throws of the Benitez era.

  • mate, you also apply it to the end of the Houllier era which ended in even more of a whimper.

  • Who's up for Chelsea-Libpool at the Effra? I'll be at a rehearsal 'til 3, will probably bring the boys with me for a post rockin'-out-with-our-cocks-out refreshment...

  • is that the sat or sun game?
doing pub lunch sunday but might pop out saturday

  • Sunday... Effra pub lunch, innit?

  • Time for a new poll:

Who do you believe Wenger or Moyes?

With Wenger's record of not seeing controversial incidents?

I'm sure Fabregas had a few choice words for the officials given their complete lack of understanding of the offside rule. But, Moyes broke a long standing convention that what goes on in the tunnel is kept out of the media glare. This will probably come back to haunt him.

  • bodieanddoyle with a trim?

You bollocks. I´m currently sporting the full Ray Doyle look.

  • I want the 4th offical to show some fucking balls and say exactly what was or was not said.

  • That's not going to happen though is it?

Who cares what was said, it was in the tunnel at half time after a poor decision. I imagine Fabregas was a bit industrial with his language but I doubt it was anything worse than you'd hear elsewhere in the country, week in, week out. Moyes is shit stirring (presumably having had lessons from our resident toffee shit stirrer).

  • the main point for me was the fact without Cesc they stood half a chance.. no one has yet mentioned the ball he put through to Arshavin... stunning!!

  • Off to Brentford - Argyle today with my mate who supports Argyle (and United). Plastics!

Could be one of Argyle's last games, they're seriously on the brink of going under. Now that conman Risdale is involved its almost certain to happen.

  • Green Army !

  • the main point for me was the fact without Cesc they stood half a chance.. no one has yet mentioned the ball he put through to Arshavin... stunning!!

You're right. In essence you are a one man team.

How many times has he come off the bench to save your arses?

  • the main point for me was the fact without Cesc they stood half a chance.. no one has yet mentioned the ball he put through to Arshavin... stunning!!

Errr, that ball was goin nowhere 'til Rodwell flicked it on for him

  • Rodwell couldn't do any more than flick it on, ball had him beaten, he was lucky to get anything on it at all.

  • Cesc can change a game, but the biggest difference is the pace he can push the game to.

There isn't another player in the league who can move the ball at that pace, Gerrard is punt and run, Lampard is flat short passes, Arteta is a woman, Rooney fucks nans, Bullard is ugly... none have the speed of thought and foot that our boy has. he has pulled apart all teams. unique!

Fact is he has come on and changed the game..

But we are a long way from a one man team - we have clear match winners in Nasri, Theo (to a lesser extent), RVP, Wiltshire, Arshavin.. but Wenger has created a squad that can all move the ball well and play fantastic football. stick 9 men in the box and you need something a bit special

  • Rodwell couldn't do any more than flick it on, ball had him beaten, he was lucky to get anything on it at all.

Lucky to be on the pitch.

Lucky to get a chance to come to London and watch how a real team play

Lucky to be humiliated by the Arsenal greats

    I could go on...
