Got love for Gary.
(and Garies, but that was a long long time ago).Realised how much it meant to be a fan, possibly took the anti scouse thing a bit far. I always liked his mad runs up field to celebrate every goal against Liverpool. And also to wind up the fans. Perhaps He (deserving of capitalisation today) realised how important United vs Liverpool was to each set of fans. He didn't let it become a boring West London derby of little consequence. He stoked the flames and kept the fires of hate burning.
Probably should have retired a year or two ago, but one club eh? Won the fucking lot as well.

Put him in a room full of total arseholes and they'd all point him out as the arsehole.

You'd still have had him in your team. FACT.

What?! He wouldn't have had a look in - even we didn't need an arsehole of such magnitude. I met him on several occasions and he carried on like he really was something special. In reality he was anything but.

Nah. There's tons of other right backs I'd take over him. Belletti, Albert Ferrer, Steve Clarke and Dan Petrescu to name a few ;)

With the return of King Kenny, our new attacking style of play and the removal of the dead wood, would it be fair to say we have 'turned a corner'?

Shan't be making any predictions except for hoping the lady boy scores first as I am going to have a score on it. But that doesn't necessarily mean we will lose

He's a big bloke that Andy Carroll. Very imposing stature, can't wait to see him knock a few goals in when he's fit
i always thought he was a bit neanderthal
