where you at for pre match?
I am meeting a mate (Everton fan) at the Hen and Chickens before, then to the Che for usual afters with the usual crowdNot sure pre-match as I won't be out of work 'til about 6.30 then have to meet a mate to get the ticket so I'll be short for time....may squeeze a quick one in....
A few mates are in the Che afterwards so I may try and pop in. What street's it on?

so no repeat of our VDV miracle this time round. Pitched in for loads of big money strikers and came away empty handed with one less striker on our books.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/feb/01/tottenham-hotspur-transfer-deadline-dayTime for 'Arry to look to youth methinks. Sometimes you get the bear, sometimes the bear gets you.
Think both Liverpool and Chelsea overpaid, Andy Carroll will have to come on leaps and bounds, but he will be getting better service now, and Newcastle best hope that lovenkrands, ameobi, best, and nolan can fill the gap, otherwise that 36m will be feathering a championship nest.

Who will provide the service for Carroll? YJC? Kuyt? Serious question btw.

either being cocky or you don't know
Kalou isn't a first team starter now is he? do you feel Anleka will get less game time or Malouda drop back or on the bench?
Before Torres, the strongest line up was
Malouda Drogba Anelka
with varoius options behind them. Kalou would be a fresh pair of legs for the last 10 or 15 minutes. Sturridge and Kakuta also could provide this particularly in circumstnacves where Kalou started due to injury, illness or resting.
Torres Could play alongside Drogba or Anelka or, on occasions both. Malouda could drop back to mid field either in the hole or wide. On Chelsea TV last night, the speculation from Walker and Minto foresaw three up front and only disagreed on the positioning of Ramieres and Malouda.
Alternatively, Chelsea could play 442 or vary formation depending on who they were playing and the state of the game.
By the way:
Kalou has started 10 league games so far this season and made 9 appearances as sub.
Anelka 19 starts and one as sub
Drogba 20 and 2
Malouda 22 and 1
Kakuta 1 and 4
Sturridge 22 all as sub

miereles, gerrard, johnson, joe cole (if not injured)?
liverpool have a better class of player than newcastle, though they haven't been showing it for most of this season. Newcastle rely on barton and nolan, and everyso often gutierrez, need a little help from the liverpool supporters here..

They just signed Carrol for £35m, how much more help do they need to give us.

See you at the Che then?
Possibly, it'd be rude not to really.

From Twitter:

I couldn't make sense of those numbers, i just saw a list of overpaid bench warmers for an average mid table team

I would expect Kuyt to play the main striker now if Carroll is injured with Suarez as partner
meireles and lucas in centre mid stevie G on the right and maxi or even jovanavic on the leftlong term pacheo being Suarez's understudy
Cliveo I could see torres on the left in your front 3 he's destroyed you guys a couple of times from that position

Which would fit well with Drogba in the mioddle and Anelka to the right.
No need to remind me of Torres' goals against Chelsea. They were showing them repeatedly last night on Chelsea TV.

hopefully our defenders will know how to deal with him come the weekend
will he start tonight- and yes i know talk about your own striker !

He isn't playing tonight, the team flew up yesterday afternoon. He will be available on Sunday.
Coping with Torres is one thing. Coping with Torres, Drogba and Anelka together will be quite different.
Carragher will probably try and injure him in retribution for perceived disloyalty.

if he wasn't injured himself
